If Vergil and Dante become friends without a game where Vergil is the badass antagonist he was in DMC3. then
NT will have officially BUTCHERED what made DMC3's story great.
Plus it will have made Vergil's Downfall nothing more than pointless fan service. Because the entirety of that DLC was spent making him into a villain
I'm all for him becoming a good guy. But let's see him as THE BAD GUY that they spent so much time developing him into, first.

Lol, Random honey, you do know I was joking right? I know it won't happen, it's just the widdle sad side of me wishing they'd make up and be BFF's again.
Although on the serious side, if it ever came to the point were Vergil died in the future, I hope they'd find some level of understanding between them, even if they never saw eye to eye in the end.

Yeah, I feel ya. I wish we didn't have to rush into Vergil becoming a villain, maybe first they could have developed a stronger friendship over a whole game and then the betrayal... but yeah, that's not going to happen now.

Tbh, I think the wedge between Dante and Vergil in DmC is even greater than in DMC... After all, in DMC Vergil had nothing against Dante directly, Dante was simply opposing him in his plans. DmC Vergil on the other hand has something against his twin directly: it seems that in VD Dante becomes somehow the symbol of everything Vergil is not strong enough to achieve...

Oh, I loved downfall, I think they the story told was pretty good. Love the whole concept of fighting inside his mind, I just meant that maybe we could have taken a little longer to reach the point that we do in Downfall.
But I see your overall point, it really is hard to put into words how awesome it looks while playing when you have both brothers on the screen.

There was never a wedge between DMC Dante or Vergil (even before DmC). Those 2 were just sibling rivals who loved fighting each other (says Lady) and the two were able to completely fight in perfect synch against Arkham using each others weapon and even got along quite well (both insulting Arkham, even agreeing, and saying Jackpot in unison). If anything Dante was the caring brother who would want to beat some sense in his brother while Vergil was the one who retaliated when his brother got in his way or they just loved fighting each other just because.
DmC Vergil, with the way VD was going, probably wants to kill his brother's head and seeing how Dante was about to kill Vergil in cold blood. These 2 don't have as close a relationship that the old twins had in DMC. Its strongly hinted (well confirmed by Capcom) that Vergil still loved his brother greatly and cared for him despite trying to kill him on multiple occasions although Dante tried to do the same.
Difference between the 2 pair are that DMC Dante and Vergil never got along or saw eye to eye in their entire life but loved each other and was close enough while DmC Dante and Vergil at one point got along and saw eye to eye on a lot of things and were getting close to each other so it in fact hurted their relationship drastically when they fought each other since it was more of an unexpected betrayal to Vergil (since with DMC Vergil he saw it coming) and since Vergil's character in DmC is totally opposite of DMC Vergil that both got their hopes and dreams crushed and asses kicked by their brothers but reacted differently to the situation. DMC Vergil being more noble and straight forward gladly accepted defeat and still cared for his brother enough to make him stay in the human world but he went to the demon world for if he can't become like his father at least he can fit in the demon world for he sees himself as a demon and his brother as a human and that is where they each belong and left with as much pride as he had can muster. DmC Vergil being some evil mastermind or calculating genius who used people his entire life to get what he wants and a sociopath couldn't take the betrayal easily and even gave up living because he couldn't take the betrayal and defeat easily and blames others for his weakness.

I see,It's some kind of love-hate relationship.Such things spice up the action and the dynamics in a game,I guess.Though even if they were fighting,they were equal,nonetheless,they knew they can't kill each other.

i'll be uploading the doppelganger swaps up soon, but the method to get dante into game is something I'd have to just explain on a case by case basis, so when I upload the doppelganger swap you should download that and get it working, and then I can guide you on how to get Dante using the yamato.
