:) I love this picture !!

She so looks like Trish. =D I so hope Eva shows up in DmC in other than just the art flashbacks. I might cry if she and Dante get a scene together :'(

Something still strikes me as odd though.

Sparda=Greyish white hair
Eva=Blood red hair
Vergil=Pure white hair
Dante=...Black?

Like how does that work? Vergil's hair is white like his fathers, yet Dante's hair is black while his mom's hair is red?
His father's hair is black

It looks like a dark/mid tone gray in the photo and the painting, as well as the graffiti style art of him and Eva's embrace when vergil is telling Dante how Sparda came to betray Mundus, but I think it's safe to say Sparda is more toward the white hair in nod to DMC!Classic

I believe red hair is a genetic anomality, like early grey hair. So Eva could easily have the genes of black hair carried to her sons. And if Sparda's hair was originally black, then that would be the dominant gene.

I could be wrong though. I usually check Wikipedia for this stuff before posting, but I haven't done so this time. I think I'll go and do it now though. ^^

Edit:

It appears I was right. Red hair is a genetic mutation. ^^

She's wonderful <3

I love redheads, specially with freckles <3

Man I love freckles <3

AAAAAAND with that XNAlara stuff I finally got a good view on Dante's Rebellion markings on his back, so I'll see when I can get that tattooed.

Eva's an Angel, so genetics would have nothing to do with it. It's likely NT decided to have the Twins contrast each other in a light and dark fashion while following the Capcom mandate to distance the new Dante's design from the classic series

I know that, with my hair at least, in sunlight it looks more red while inside it's so dark it almost looks black. Eva's hair could be a dark brown with red, and it's just the lighting that's bringing out the red tint in her hair.

*pokes head in thread*

I'm Batman

*casually walks away because running away is not badass enough for Batman*
I'm a redhead and I take offence to that comic! >.> <.<

And to answer questions anyone can be born with red hair. You could have blonde parents and they could still have a redhead kid. o.o

Wait... if Eva's has red hair why is Dante a brunette?

Edit: totally missed DragonMaster2010's post... nevermind.

Did you read any of the above posts? XD
Totally missed them. lol

Worth mentioning that red hair can be a genetic mutation (as mentioned above); and two brunette parents can have a child with red hair. However, if the parent has red hair it's no longer a mutation but simply a gene to be passed on. Light hair colours such as blonde and red are recessive genes that normally do not get passed on to children unless both parents carry the gene. So Dante having brunette hair is quite possible, but only if Sparda was brunette before going white. Or if Eva's red hair is a dye job, lol

Or, of course. This whole thing could be a work of fiction. That's also possible I guess...

Edit: Did... I just have a total geek out again?

And being it's a Demon mating with an Angel, all kinds of funkiness goes on. Genetics and genes kind'a don't matter much with divine and infernal beings.
