I'm shocked. Mortified. Totally did not see this coming. :meh:

If only there were someone out there who could've warned us ahead of time that this would happen! :nailbiting:

*shrugs* Ah, well. That's the centralized banking system for you.

unlike you...i actually DIDN'T see this coming (unless you weren't being sarcastic...then i'm the idiot)...the more i think about it and look at what was going on, i can see how the ducks were lined up

For a long time Japan was in a huge economic slump. During the '90s they were very much in a depression and they had, as a result, a shockingly high number of suicides. They still hold the record for a lot of suicide related things.

Anyway, Japan's poor economics have been with them for a long time. I'm more worried about how those directly affected will react. I don't want to read about more suicide peaks in Japan do to economic falls.

I honestly thought the whole one-child regime they're so hardcore about was because of financial issues, and whatnot with all the natural disasters that took a few million people (and a few million/billion financially), I think Japan needs to be applauded for keeping afloat as long as it has.

I thought one-child regime is in China?
But yeah, they suffered so many dreadful hits from nature and are technically still doing better than many other countries.
