capcom captivate 2012

what do you think will show in capcom captivate ?
A : gameplay trailer
B : story trailer
C : release date
D : like everytime nothing and wait for e3 2012
E : interview saying they cant talk about it right now
 
definitely a gameplay trailer, hopefully a story trailer, and probably some time of interview. i bet we will have to wait until e3 to get a release date though. those are my predictions :)
 
You know, I find it very weird that for a company that prides itself on it's story telling the fact that there are no story trailers is troublesome.

There has been far too much silence on this so I'm discounting D and I don't think they will release a story trailer so no A, all the trailers so far have been about the action so A is a definite but C is a no go because everything with this project leads me to belive that they don't know themselves. There will be pleanty of E's though.
 
the reason i think they are gonna show alot at captiavate is because besides e3 it's the only big gaming event where capcom can promote DmC.
 
You forgot about tgs, gamescon and GDC 2.

lets hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
 
A gameplay trailer that shows off the transversal(is that a word) element of the game and how you interact with the stage along with how some more combat. Maybe some new stages but nothing really about the story as usual.
 
I want to see more enemies! Ones that don't look like new versions of the same ceramic mannequins we've been seeing so far! Also, the hooded chicks face. And an npc.
 
i don't take it as one either. so i'm betting there will definitely be alot of attention on DmC around the beginning of april.
 
I just hope they go all out if anything, because thats what they've been missing. All their appearances have been behind the scenes and only few people could view it.
Hopefully now, they'll start with some brand new music, a crazy LONG hopefully 4-5 minute story trailer and a Demo. Which would fit nicely with the HD collection. And then finish it off with some kind of twist. Like a returning character or something.
 
They definitly have to have DmC related material on the HD collection since DmC was stated to be the reason for the HD collection (and not the fact that the franchise just turned 10 years old, it seems), so I'd be rather surprised if there wasn't any DmC matterial.

They do need to give us much more than what they've given us, so far they've given us practicly nothing and it's been over year and a half. How long have we know about the game and how much do we know?

Am I the only one uber curious about the hub? I'm hoping to see that the game has progressed at least that far.

Everyone is curious. Skeptics and Supporters both are really interested on seeing something new. I mean NT said they were going to be releasing info throughout the whole process. And then they say just wait and see.
Well, we're waiting!!! and I don't see S**T!!

I'm not to worried though. The game will be released and i'm still going to buy it, unless they show me something that seems really, really, stupid. Then i might have a change of heart, but so far, i think it looks cool. I like Dante, i like the weapons, i like how beat up he was in the beginning, i like the stages, i like the music. For me, its kinda hard not to like.

not at all, i am also really excited to see what the HUD looks like, perhaps they will show gameplay with the HUD on at captivate. i'm sure if they did, it would make the game more recognizable as a devil may cry game.
 
ever since games have been using the screen to go red as you die, i never liked having a health bar. But i am still interested in seeing what they've made.
I hope it isn't the same though. Did u notice how the orbs in "the fight" trailer, cascade right into Dante now??

please keep the health bar! no offense to your opinion, it's just too many games do the red screen regenerate thing. devil may cry without a health bar would be like family guy in real life, it wouldn't make sense lol. but maybe they had the skill where no matter where you are the orbs will come to you, because there is a skill like that in dmc4 that you can unlock.
 
DmC still doesn't have a OFFICIAL trailer isn't it?
The trailers they have released so far are just trailers of TGS,E3 and gamescom.
Correct me if am wrong though.
