Vergil's Downfall pretty much solved the problems the main game had?

The story wasn't SMASH DUH CAMWAHS

and the game had difficulty on all levels. (inb4noitdidn'tbecomehardatall2mlg4u)

i liked having one kickass weapon
instead of fast week and slow powerfully
