Brothers like the DmC bros

DragonMaster2010

Don't Let the Fall of America be Your Fall
So I was thinking about a fanfic I was doing and I started making comparisons of Dante and Vergil in DmC with other bros, and so far this was what I got;

Dante, Rin, and Dean
Vergil, Yukio, and Sam.

Anyone else you think are like these two?

Loki and Thor...at least in the Marvel movies.
Both Loki and Vergil are the kind of guys who seem calm, but underneath, they're really messed up people with ideas of ruling the world.

Thor and Dante are quite alike too. They both start of being more interested in their own thing, not bothered about humans, until they meet a human woman and form a connection with her. Then both of them decide to be protectors of the humans/ planet.

Plus their rivalry is similar too.

I want to say like The Doctor and The Master.
BUT Explaining it will take suuuuch a long time.
I'll have a go at explaining. This is a super abridged version just to get the main details in.:P

They're not brothers, but they do behave in that kind of way. They grew up together on Galifray, went to school together, but then The Master goes mad after he looks into that time vortex.
Then there is a Time War. Both The Doctor and The Master escape while Galifray is destroyed.

Then as an adult, he goes to Earth and takes it over by brainwashing the public and becoming Prime minister of the UK. Meanwhile, The Doctor is looking for him, because they are the last time lords, so The Doctor feels personal responsibility for saving Earth and trying to help his old friend.

In the end, the Master is defeated. But instead of trying to kill The Master for what he did to Earth, The Doctor says he forgives him and wants to take him in the TARDIS and help him because they are the last of their kind. The Master, not wanting to accept this, lets himself die instead of regenerating his body. The Doctor mourns the loss of his old friend and then burns his body.

Later, The Master comes back, but his body is faulty. The Doctor takes it upon himself again to save Earth and The Master. It culminates in the return of the Time Lords, who used The Master to do this. Realising this, The Master sacrifices himself and saves Earth.

Ah! Good enough, but there's more details there are missing.
Like The Doctor killed a bully that was being a douche to The Master.
They behaved a lot like brothers, but more of DMC3 style.
Actually now that I think about it...The End of Time is like DMC3. O.O

Caramon and Raistlin Majere.

Caramon is physically strong, doesn't use his head that much, but will do anything to protect his brother until he realizes Raistlin is too far gone. He also fights to protect everyone from his brother, later on. In other words he's a lot like Dante.

Raistlin is highly intelligent, physically weak while powerful in magic. He's always been jealous of his brother due to him being considered the more attractive and easier to get along with. He also hated his brother because he needed him. Like Vergil he tries to gain so much power, but also tries to become a god.

Caramon and Raistlin are also twins.
