Chapter one

RelliK readied his gear he was to carry out an assassination at 11:30 Am today
"Leaving so soon bro" RelliK's brother called out
" Yes Nico, I have to" RelliK answered
" Yeah I know" Nico responded
RelliK walked out the door flipping his hood up, he then ran up one of the wall of another building almost effortlessly he ran across the roof tops until he saw a taller building that he began climbing.
RelliK scanned the area he saw a few local guards and then he saw the supposed ally soldiers from the other city.
He jumped to another building he grabbed the ledge but slipped. He transformed into from his fire form to his lightning form and flew up there swiftly.
He saw his target, Serge one of the five captains of an enemy force, They claimed to be allies of the town but the league of assassins RelliK was employed and trained by saw through their bluff but they kept the evidence to themselves.
RelliK swiftly jumped from building to building until he was on the one that the captain was below.
Serge was accompanied by three other soldiers regular soldiers not high ranked ones .
RelliK threw one of his throwing knives at a solider and hit him dead in the throat.Serge turned to see the solider coughing up blood it hit his armor. RelliK descended taking another guard out with his combat knife, The Silent Kill. RelliK lodged The Silent kill into third soldier's throat.
" Who are you?" The Captain asked
" The questions of the soon to be dead aren't my concern." RelliK answered Drawing his fire sword Xcalibur transforming again
Serge lunged at RelliK who easily blocked it, he proceeded to break a chunk of Serge's armor
" Do you have any id--" Serge tried to complain but RelliK stabbed him in the arm
Serge slashed at RelliK and got his shoulder. RelliK looked over at his shoulder. Serge took this chance to grab RelliK and throw him into a wall
RelliK laughed wickedly " Its been awhile since someones made me bleed" RelliK rubbed two fingers on his wound and rubbed the blood across his eyes RelliK laughed wickedly once more attacking Serge,who was scarred out of his wits. RelliK chased him out6 into the open before lodging his knife into Serge's throat letting the warm crimson blood spatter on his face
"Hey you!" A guard yelled. RelliK saw this and ran up a building and jumped across buildings
It would be easier if i could kill them too RelliK thought reaching the town wall.
" Stop assassin!" Another guard yelled
RelliK scaled the wall and jumped
" Sir he got away" The guard said
" Raise the town defense too high alert we can't have our allies killed anymore" The other guard said
RelliK grabbed the branch of a tree as he was falling
" That was close" he muttered to himself looking for a way back into town without getting caught

Pretty good,considering this is your first fanfic.I have to say,I'm quite interested.I actually like this peice of fanfic more than mine.Nice job there,nice job indeed.Although....excuse me dearly for this...but there are some places for improvements.(You're gonna hate me for saying this)
Anyways,for a first fanfic...its practically perfect.

Shorter this time
Chapter two

RelliK wandered about the outer wall for an entrance. Better be here alone than get my family in trouble. RelliK's family was the only thing he really cared about, if he did't have them he would be wandering around like this everyday.
RelliK saw a guard and memorized his patrol pattern RelliK hung on a wall until the coast was clear he slipped past the guard.
Through one of the gates on the way back to his house there were two guards who's eyes were trained right on the entrance RelliK wait for a padestrian to walk by then grabbed a rock and chucked it at the guard
" Hey you did you just throw that?" The guard asked the man below him
" No" the man answered
" Likely story" The guard said chasing the man, the other guard helped
RelliK got down from the roof and sprinted through the gate

When RelliK walked through the door he was greeted by his brother
" Your back" Nico said
" Why were you out so late?" RelliK's Mother asked
Pfft no mater how old i get it's the same thing RelliK thought
" Things got a bit complicated" RelliK didn't want to get to descriptive his family didn't like his being an assassin none of them but it is something that he had been trained to do since he was a infant.
RelliK went to his room and put his gear away he stayed in fire form since that was considered to be his normal form, unlike Nico who's normal form was lightning.
RelliK and his relatives could switch between 2 sometimes three forms because they were hybrid demons, demons born from two different kind of elemental demons. So RelliK could switch between his fire and lightning form he also used a respective weapon with both. Xcalibur for fire and Silent Kill for lightning.
RelliK's dad walked in the house.
" RelliK there is a letter for you" his father said. RelliK walked down stairs and took the note it read:
RelliK we've heard about your actions earlier today while you could've been more careful that is excusable since you survived anyway come to the east courtyard for your next mission be there by midnight
RelliK looked at the clock " I've got about two hours" he said to himself
" So how was your day?" RelliK asked Nico as he walked in Nico's room
" Nothing interesting just read." Nico answered
" Ohh I see" RelliK said RelliK grabbed a book and read too
RelliK watched the clock almost as much as he read bye 11:00 RelliK was out the door and heading eastward across town.
When RelliK got to the courtyard in the east the shady figure that he referred to as his employer was standing there
" I see you've made it" He said
" Yeah so whats my next mission "
" Someone's eager to get to the point" The employer said flatly
" Well what do you expect i'm not very friendly" RelliK responded just as flat
" Ok then your next mission is to assassinate a blacksmith in the village of Norau" The employer gave RelliK a picture of the man "I've arrange your departure to be at 9:30 tomorrow there'll be a horse at the west gate with food and water for your trip"
RelliK observed the picture and put it in his sleeve
" OK" RelliK said and went back home

Chapter 3

RelliK woke early to watch the sunrise, it was one of the few things he liked doing in the morning. RelliK walked out the door and went for the east gate he saw the horse and rode off.
By the after noon RelliK needed to stop and resupply " Supplies for a day, yeah right" RelliK said coldly. After he resupplied at a near by village he tied his horse to a post and went inside for a hot meal.When RelliK went back outside his horse was gone
" Great" he muttered he walked down the path that he walked down the path to his destination it wasn't to long after that that he heard a rustling noise. RelliK looked around but fond no one. RelliK continued constantly hearing the rustling. RelliK eventually came to a halt
" Alright come out" RelliK watched five snickering figures emerge
" Give us you money and your nice sword." One Bandit said
" No" RelliK answered
" Why you!" The Bandit said holding a knife to RelliK's throat
" You don't know how to use that correctly, your just a troubled teenager who got a weapon before leaving home." RelliK said grabbing the bandits wrist, swiftly disarming him, breaking his arm, and kicking him in the face.
The rest attacked RelliK easily blocked and disarmed all of them. RelliK took out Xcalibur and cut off Bandit number two's left arm, Bandit three's legs, bandit four's right eye was ripped out, and bandit five got his finger cut off. RelliK finished them off when he got to the one that first tried to attack him
" C'mon man, we were just trying to make something to live for" he begged
" You have nothing to live for, I don't feel guilty when I kill people who have something to live for therefore I'm going to care even less when I kill you" RelliK responded coldly
" But plea--" The bandit didn't get to finish RelliK got tired of listening and stabbed him in the throat
RelliK continued down the path

Chapter 4
When RelliK arrived he saw bustling streets people buying and selling to merchants, people being robbed, kids playing.

RelliK found an inn and showed people the picture and gathered info eventually learned his schedule. He closes at 8:00

RelliK walked to an inn and waited for the time to go by. Two drunk guys were fighting and they ended up kicking RelliK's table from underneath him. RelliK stood up and roundhouse kicked one, he proceeded to punch the other one in the stomach and upper cut him. After this the entire inn broke into havoc. People hitting other people with mugs, others stabbing people in the eyes with broken glass. RelliK drew his knife and fought his way out. Stabbing and cutting a few people dodging every shot that came at him. When he finally got out it was 7:45 plenty of time to get to the blacksmith before closing.

RelliK arrived at 7:50 he jumped up onto the roof and stood above an open window
When the blacksmith telling everyone to get out RelliK slipped in knife unsheathed as The Black smith closed the door RelliK jumped behind the desk. The Blacksmith walked over and closed the window. Total silence. The Blacksmith walked back towards the the door, as he did RelliK jumped out from under the desk and stabbed the Blacksmith in the shoulder. RelliK sheathed his knife and pulled his sword out. RelliK slashed at the Blacksmith,bisecting his arm. RelliK finished him off stabbing the man in the heart. RelliK pulled out a piece of cloth and wiped it down the blood stained sword. RelliK opened the window and set off for home.

RelliK arrived at the front gate of his town after the grueling trip back. He made his way to the assassin headquerters, there he found his employer.
" RelliK, have you finished the job?" The employer asked
" The deed is done." RelliK responded dryly
" Good, Your next job is just outside the city limit you have to kill this woman " The employer gave him a picture of a long dark haired young woman.
RelliK took the picture , and left the building. He made his way to an amour shop. He bought a new set of leather gloves, he then went to the weapon shop across the street and bought two knives, four trigger like switches, and a spool of barbed wire, then he went home.
" Whatcha got there?" Nico asked RelliK curiously
" Stuff for weapons" RelliK answered. RelliK cut slits in the gloves so his knives could fit in the gloves. RelliK tied a knife to two of the triggers by the time RelliK had finished he had a set of gloves that could shoot out knives, bring the knives back, and cut people via barbed wire.

RelliK set off for the outskirts of the town he asked people if they knew the woman, some said yes, some said no, some didnt answer.

He finally found out where she lived, When he arrived he saw through the window that a man was with her.

" Oh great an extra person" RelliK muttered. RelliK hid until they had their backs turned on him. RelliK launched a knife from his glove the wire wrapped around th man. When RelliK pulled the man was tripped. RelliK jumped through the window and unsheathed his knife.

" W-Who are you?" The woman asked fear pulsing through every fiber in hier being

" The one who is going to kill you" RelliK responded and put his knife to her throat

" W-why?" The woman asked

" Questions of the soon to be dead arn't my problem" RelliK said about to cut her throat.

" Wait take me instead." The man said struggling to stand up. When he did he put himself between RelliK and the woman

" I'm begging you take me instead , spare her i can't live without her" The man said nearly crying

RelliK pondered for a minute, "Fine." He said " I kill you and spare the woman." RelliK said readying his knife. The man braced himself, RelliK stabbed the man in the heart and walked back to the broken window. The woman had tears in her eyes, RelliK turned back and shot the knife glove at her. The knife pierced her throat. RelliK walked over and wiped a cloth on the knife that pierced her throat and he retracted the other one. RelliK set off back for the headquerters.

RelliK got back to headquarters and saw His employer and another person that looked the equivalent to 16
"The mark is done" RelliK reported
" Excellent" His employer said " I also want you to meet your new partner" He added
" Partner?" RelliK asked " I don't need a partner he'll just get in my way "
" We need you to take him as a partner so you can train him" The employer began
" Train?" RelliK said angered " I was taken from my mom and Dad days after i was born i didn't see them till I was Seven!!" RelliK was yelling by now
" Yes we discovered that , That method wasn't very productive and many of you died w wait until they are older and actually built. Out of Fairness" The employer said flatly
" Fairness, first of all Its not fair to those who went through the training that i did or the ones that died during it" RelliK said " Secondly if the assassination business was about being fair i would A fight my marks face to face or B you'd kill the person you want dead on your own , not hire someone stronger and hide like a little bitch" RelliK yelled
" Regardless of how you feel i'm the one in charge so you will do as commanded " The Employer said
RelliK glared at them both like he wanted to kill them
" Well anyway your mission is travel to a city west of here The are six political figures The Head Warden/ police , The mayor, The armor maker, Weapon maker, The general , And the secretary" The employer said
" Understood" RelliK said heading off towards the west gate.
" So what do you want me to address you by" The person asked RelliK
" My name is RelliK" he said
" Mine is Lexaeus" he said
" Well i have 3 Rules Do what i tell you Don't annoy me And don't die " RelliK said. And they set off to The city

As they were on the road to the city RelliK decided he needed to make use of his partner if he could.
" So what exactly can you do?" RelliK questioned Lexaus
" I can pick pockets and pick locks I also know I've went through basic training for assassinations and my primary weapon is a short blade " Lexaus stated
" Well i don't how much your training covers but you seem more like a thief than a assassin" RelliK said disappointed that there was nothing particularly different
" Basic martial arts and stealth and poison making and traps " Lexaus said thinking of somthing lse to please RelliK
RelliK thought to himself about this he usually didnt set up traps unless he was being chased by a crowd and had time and poison could be useful for not being there the death happens. But thats no fun he thought. RelliK kept walking h found a roadside tavern " We are stopping here for food and water " Lexaus listened and followed RelliK, they got food and water
" So how do you eat with that thing on ?" Lexaus asked RelliK pointing at his mask. RelliK intended to ignore him but the kid wouldn't quit looking at him
" Well since if i don't tell you your going to keep looking at me funny i'll tell you, I don't need to take it off since i'm a demon thats a hybrid of fire and lightning i can use lightning powers to make it move through my mask " RelliK answered he spotted a vault in the back room of the tavern. Just then someone tried to take ReliK's drink " Damn i have bad luck in inns don't I?" H proceeded to hit the man in the throat with his knife's handle this started another huge Bar brawl RelliK took advantage of this and dragged Lexaus to the vault in the back " First assignment unlock that"
Lexaus did as told working the lock , RelliK on the other hand saw one of the workers and hid when the worker walked through the doorway he stabbed her in the back of the head someone saw and screamed " Murderer" much to RelliK's dismay
" Damn" RelliK said Lexaus wasn't done getting rid of the lock so RelliK kickd the door and the it broke inwards he removed the pieces of the door and grabbed as mch as he could money jewls weapons ect. Leaxaus did they same Lexaus looked at RelliK " You gotta teach me how to do that "
" Do what?" RelliK asked unaware of what Lexaus was talking about
" You know the door breaking kick of badassery " Lexaus said
RelliK rolled his yes and ran him and Lexaus had to divert from the normal road to escape the peacekeepers RelliK had Lexaus set traps up he heard one get caught in it RelliK laughed mechanically
As they made their way back to the main road it started to thunder
" Should we find a place to stay" Lexaus asked
" No, lightning is one of my elements " RelliK said
" But what about those of us who will die if we get struck by lightning" Lexaus said
" Fine we'll set up a camp under that rock ledge " RelliK said
As they set up the tent Lexaus grew very tired , when the tent was set up they went to bed . RelliK had a hard time sleeping but vntually succumbed to the world of dreams
When RelliK awoke he and Lexaus were not in camp

As RelliK looked around he noticed he was in a cell,walls of concrete and bars of iron, and lack of weapons. RelliK walked to the front of his cell he saw Lexaus in the other one. Lexaus saw RelliK , who had all of his stuff , aside from his weapons while Lexaus had his clothes taken and given rags " Hey how do you still have your clothes?" Lexaus asked RelliK
" Since i have different forms, my cloths become like a second skin automatically washes can't be removed unless i switch forms, and i can't do that unless i get my weapons back" RelliK said searching his clothes for something that he could use as a weapon.
" I'll be damned if the can find a knife in all of this" RelliK said pulling up his sleeve looking at an empty knife arm band , he checked his leg band and his twin viper gloves "Nothing he muttered
RelliK sat down and took in more of his surroundings , such as a lose brick at the top of the cell and the guard that takes 2 minutes to get from one end of the hall to the other
Lexaus on the other hand became frantic and claustrophobic , pacing back and forth hitting the wall . It was also the first time RelliK took the time to get a good look at Lexaus , he had short brown hair well muscled and had i cut on his lip. Almost direct contrast to RelliK's long red hair and was lean as opposed to actual muscle. RelliK too had a scar but was on his eye as opposed to his lip this of cours changes when RelliK switches form as In his fire form shadow surrounds his face and in Lightning his skin tone hides it along with his mask. Lexaus punched the wall again this time RelliK heard th loose brick in hi cell rattle
" Do that again" he told Lexaus as he had an idea . Lexaus obliged and hit the wall again , the brick fell RelliK picked it up and began to hit it against the wall watching pieces of the brick chip away. After about 5 minutes instead of being a block the brick was like a flat blade , RelliK began to sharpen it on the bars in the cell. It was a slow but sure process he had hid his makeshift weapon from the guard every time he walked by. RelliK was about halfway done 30 minutes in before the guard caught him
" Hey you can't have that" The guard yelled , RelliK paid him no mind , " If you don't put it down i'll have to come in there " The guard warned
" Go ahead" RelliK said looking at the guard with an expression that could kill the guard. The guard hesitated but opened up the door sword drawn. RelliK backed up and threw his rock knife at the guards neck , It pierced his throat and the man fell dead his neck still bleeding. RelliK took his keys and his sword and unlocked Lexaus's cell " Lets go" RelliK said
" What about the other guys " Lexaus asked
" Not relevant to the mission thy stay" RelliK said walking out of the room stabbing a guard when he walked to the other one and took his stuff. Lexaus grabbed his clothes and weapons
The two walked out of the jail and RelliK had a thought. He poured some oil for traps around the building , drew his Xcalibur fire sword changing forms and lit the jail on fire.
" There are still people in there" Lexaus said
" Not relevant" RelliK said walking away hearing explosions " Must've been gunpowder or something in there" RelliK muttered
" Also not right" Lexaus said referring to RelliKs previous remark
" Let me put it to you this way kid , Death happens. And when i get payed death happens more often " RelliK said harshly as they continued to walk The jail turning to ashes. RelliK smirking darkly
