Bad adaptations that do good as films

i was thinking a few minutes ago (yes i actually do that) that there are a ton of movie adaptations that i thoroughly enjoy but are terrible at sticking to source material. just to name a few...

(all 23 of them)

but they are all (for the most part) very fun and well made movies that i enjoy watching. knowing that they might not be so good at sticking to what they were made from. any from you guys?

I'd say a fair number of the Marvel movies are like that for me; of course, they do tend to change the source material often in the comics too, which I guess is why I don't get upset about it-and sometimes, the changes are necessary if certain aspects were outdated.

The newest Star Trek movies, as well-quite different from the originals, but enjoyable, nonetheless.
