A brief history of Devil may cry to DmC: Devil may cry.

If you're asking why there are so many dislikes, it's because of the commentator to be so bland. All your history is a very good segment of machinima. Part 2 will coming soon probably so enjoy.

The video was quite educational. Why are people hating, really?
 
I was questioning their motive. It's rather simple really. Are they there for the teacher or the education?

I thought the commentator got his points across both clearly and coherently. At the end of the video, I understood everything he talked about. The amount of criticism on the video is a little too much, if not unneeded.

Actually, i'm gonna say it's both. All your history segment is known for history and also because of the entertaining commentator. And as i said, just look at the comments xD
 
Part 2 was an even bigger disappointment than part 1. He didn't even mention the novels, and it just seems like he was reading directly off some wiki page... and it also seems he puts his opinion in there too.
I'm done watching this series. It never tells me anything interesting, about any game.

the novels aren't canon
 
Yes, but All your history segment always mentions those things, how it was developed and it was become today in a much detailed explanation( See older All your history's). I'm a big fan of this segment but i would agree with the people who thought that the segment now sucks.

Yeah, but I dunno... even with the Batman history thing, I still felt like the information was just summed up from the wikipedia page. Other than the SNES batman game, and Arkham City/Asylum I didn't really know anything about the other games, and in the four videos covering the movies/games I didn't really learn anything.

I just always expect these video's to cram knowledge into your head... they never do. :/

I don't exactly see the novels nor the manga as cannon. Although, they are both very much within the DMC universe... just, not in the same universe as the games, imo.
The novels say right on the front "Supervised by Capcom", while the manga's just shows that Capcom gave it the A-ok. So, to me the manga's have even less meaning than the novels. The manga's version of Vergil was several times more evil, so I was like "pass". Both manga's contradicted my views of Dante and Vergil.
