All two player times on DMC3

I am actually asking I want to play with my mate on DMC3 I know about the Doppleganger thing but dont know how it works or how you manage to do it.

you get another controller and press start, but you need to have the super dante costume....and that's it, but when you enter another room you have to activate the doppleganger ability again...and after cutscenes and stuff like that...

Ok cool and how do I get super Dante do I complete DMD mode?

yeah, think so, but i'm not sure. another two player is the second half of the arkham battle, the second person can play as Vergil.

I knew Vergil could jump in on the second half it was weather he could be controlled.

Beat DMC3:SE to play as Vergil.

I'm curious... do you lose your style when the second player gets hit, I've never tried it but i know their invincible.
