Hey guys, I know you probably watched them, BUT here I tried to put every video of every stage we know, in order to help those who are new to the board. Besides, it may help those who are interested about the number of stages.

ps: The post is going to be long, so I apologize if it's boring. :)

ps 2: It seems that some boss battles count as separate missions ( you'll understand why...).


1) MISSION 1: We don't have any official name, but we KNOW it's going to be the one in this video:


In that mission, Dante gets his famous red coat.

It also seems there is going to be a boss battle right at the beginning, against this guy: http://www.ign.com/images/games/dmc-ps3-85707/4fa6cb75cdc388ed13f67653

I've seen some interviews, and it's stated that the boss is called Hunter Demon...


2) UNKNOWN MISSION: I've seen this one, but I don't know its number.


3) UNDER WATCH MISSION: That one is the classic city stage.




4) UNKNOWN MISSION ( possibly another city mission): See from 1:09 to 1:11, Dante is running through the city...



5) VIRILITY FACTORY: It was shown during the trailer before gamescon, but oddly wasn't shown for public.

Note: The demon called Poison is a boss that you'll have to kill in that stage, BUT it seems it counts as a mission called Secret Ingredient...

6) SECRET INGREDIENT MISSION: Even though it's a boss battle, it counts as a mission.

7) OVERTURN: It's a misson in limbo, where Dante has to face a very strange stage inverse order...

8) MEDIA CORRUPTION ( BOSS BATTLE): It seems to be a separate stage, where you have to face some stuff, before reaching the boss himself called BOB BARBAS:

9) DEVIL'S DALLIANCE: It's a night club mission. Jones stated that this stage represents half ( middle ) of the game. So, my take is about being Mission 10...

ps: Some user said that Jones or Molant stated that Overturn would be Mission 7. So, there could be another limbo mission, the boss battle and finally the Devil's dalliance...

ps 2: That's probably a new boss. See from 2:00 to 2:03...

nice compilation, but i'm pretty sure boss battles are included at the end of the mission they are associated with.
for example, poison will probably be at the end of the virility factory. and the hunter will be at the end of the pier/carnival level.
 
You shoul consider the possibility that some of these stages are part of the same levels.
 
For some odd reason, I can't edit my first post to include the Devil's Dalliance mission...

Well, the Hunter Demon battle is part of the first mission. I agree with you, but the Poison battle counts as a mission called Secret Ingredient ( you can see the name before the misison called Under Watch).

The Press battle could be another mission, but yeah, you may be right about that one...

I see, the Bob battle could be the rest of the Overturn mission...

However, I still vote for Poison battle as being a different mission. We'll see.

i know, but i think they did that just to show the boss fight and not spoil the entire mission. so basically they cut the level part off and just showed the boss fight.
 
It seems as though DmC's levels are designed to be impossible to backtrack, like you can in many cases in DMC games... and I quite enjoyed that because... say, in one mission I forget to get an item, but I can actually go back to that same place in the next mission and retrieve it as long as I am in the same area. DmC seems to be taking the same approach that DMC2 did... where each mission was like in a completely different place and you had to replay the whole mission if you missed something. Then again, Bayonetta was also like that, and I enjoyed it fine so... meh.

I don't think so, it is just separated part of the virility factory mission created to be that short just so they could show us one boss battle without spoiling the whole mission :)
 
My memory is a little fuzzy but I recall the UnderWatch(city level) mission as Mission 5 and if Overturn is Mission 7 then Virility Factory is Mission 6 thus with no space for a Poison Boss Battle mission it as to be part of Mission 6.

Geez a lot sure does happen between 3 missions.

More than enough for a plot twist or two, it feels almost like it's gonna end after misson 10 or something, oh but wait there's angels :P and I've seen none...

very true, i mean look at mission 5 (Underwatch)

Btw, has anyone given some thought that the Virility Factory mission could be earlier than mission 5? I remember some of the earlier footage that, at the beginning of the Underwatch level, there was a guy on the radio talking about Dante's "recent attack on the Virility Factory" ... meaning it had happened already.

Although Alex confirmed that the Poison battle was like 1/3 into the game... so I dunno... these whole thing is mind****ing.

Key word........earlier footage....they could've easily of changed it around.

Of course it happened before mission 5, this game has only 10 missions :troll:
