About Mundus

I think we fight his human form first but he has some demonic powers on him. We fight that for three rounds, as he gets harder with every fight. Then we go to a demonic realm where he's this giant statue or demonic creature of his trueself and we fight that for three times as he gets harder.

I hope you are right man! :) what kind of attacks you think he got? :p

Kick 'em in the balls?

Well, that's way too direct, objetive, simple and you know, easy...:)

As for the OP question, I think you'll have to fight him 3 times.

Stage 1- You'll face Mundus, but it's his disguise ( or host, if you want). So, it's gonna be a human fight, man vs man. Maybe you won't be able to use angel and demon powers. You'll only be able to use rebellion and guns.

Stage 2- After being defeated, Mundus host will blow up and Mundus will change the entire place by morphing it into Limbo. Maybe Mundus is able to keep changing the entire place, just to create a bigger challenge.

Stage 3- After being defeated, Mundus will teleport himself and Dante to the deeps of Hell, where the epic fight ( Sparda vs Mundus) had originally happened. This time is Dante vs Mundus and you won't be able to use angel powers, considering the fight is happening inside of Hell. That means you'll only be able to use demon powers against Mundus, thus making it possible to have a different DT, just like Dante had in DMC 1.

I just have a bad feeling we won't fight his human form :/

Scratch my first thoughts.

I think the fight should start in Heaven, where Mundus wants to take control. So Dante must fight with only angel weapons. Mundus will be slower cause he's a demon in heaven and will weaken him, plus in heaven you'll be stronger with only using angel weapons and faster. This will serve as the easy first round, and you'll need the angel pull to fly yourself from either the area falling apart or dodging powerful attacks from Mundus.

Second round should be where they take it to hell and fight there. There, you'll only be able to use demon weapons, which will be a tiny bit faster, but the attack power the same. Mundus will be faster and stronger as he uses his true and powerful form to fight. This will be the second hardest fight. There will be a lot of demon pulling of shields to break Mundus's defense.

And finally the last should be back on Earth where Mundus is at his weakest but also he has a great amount of power left. This one you only have guns and your sword to use as you go at it. Just basic sword and gun maneuvers against the last bit of power Mundus has. This will be the hardest cause the last bit of power is from his baby and he gains great power that will be enough to beat you if you're not careful.

*Big potential spoilers inbound* Hm I personally think you will fight Mundus once as a human and at the end he go "you know I was just ****ing around with you that whole time right?" then go demon mode youll fight him again (cutscene after round two) he kicks your ass badly (leading to a picture some of you may have seen of mundus picking up dante with the eat your heart out thing there) then right before mundus finishes dante of dante goes **** this turns on all his demonic potential and round three which would be easiest to show how badass dante just became. Naturally this will lead to you winning and then vergil coming up and for one reason or another, vergil (whos demonic potential has been fully activated since he was a child due to him being more evil and bossly then dante) will activate and those two will have the fight to end all fights. It will end in a stalemate and they will separate to live their own lives and grow stronger but knowing that one day. One will have to kill the other. "The end? Don't bet on it."

I can't imagine how a banker will attack you :P ...and if you remember in the Vergil trailer we see a huge demon...maybe this is Mundus...how he will fight in human form? with beams? : p

Dante's reaction
Dante:"A...A beam! He's gonna shoot a beam!"

Vergil (in the distance) "Yeah right, dumbass!"

Dante: Shut up, man! It's a beam! A beam, a beam, a bea- -! OH SH*T!-!"

BOOM!

Lol, I see. Maybe that was his second form.

I still think we'll fight against his human form, though. ;)

I think you will have a human mundus fight first (There was a tiny section in the trailers I believe)
In the second fight he says he intended to summon and merge with a netherworld being that came from another world that has the potential abitilty of engulfing all of the world into limbo.
This is in fact the original Mundus in the ground of his headquarters. (Although it is only hinted in the game that it is the orginal.)
And you will fight the merged Mundus which has the guise of the giant angel as you know.
Possibly the background will change in that temple like thing in DMC1.

After fighting the original Mundus will yet again be ported to another dimension but into the orginal series.
And that should be DMC5.

Actually, I think the opposite, I think we could only use Angel weapons against him, seeing as he is the big cheese of the demon realm
