A question about Sparta's sons

Is it true that Sparda's twins (Vergil and Dante duh!) Can not be killed by weapons? Oviously they can be hurt by them, but not actually killed. Is this true?

I know they can be killed, but what im asking is can they be killed BY WEAPONS. I just heard it so many times that I decided to ask about it here. And thanks for correcting me, I must have had Sparta on my mind an ancient greek state of which I love almost as much as SparDa. *Goes back to correct it.*

Yes they can be killed by weapons.

It mainly depends what kind of weapon.
If it is demon forged or possesed then yes,but if it's a normal weapon,for instance,a gurker knife,it is unlikely to kill them.
