A bit more of a challenge

So, the other night I was messing around with DmC, and decided to turn off all of the "Increased Damage" power-ups on the melee weapons. I kept the upgrades that increase durations and height gains and whatever.

It works out quite well if you're lookin' for a bit more of a challenge, 'specially on Dante Must Die. Just sorta felt like mentioning it. I'd say give it a try :p

I was messing around a little more with this, and I found that the Style system is indeed based on damage output, as a Lv1 Hacker would offer 240 Style, while the Lv2 Hacker with increased damage offered 720 Style.

This makes it a fun challenge all around, for building Style and pummelin' enemies. I am quite content with this, haha!

Yeah, I'm trying to modify these values as well, I've gotten too good with gun charges and every damn time the enemies are dead before I can do an intricate combo on the final enemy.

Also, its just not damage output, there is a style value as well on each number, I'm not sure hwo the math works, but I did modify my shotgun bomb to have as many points as a 6x kablooey, because I just wanted to tell my brain to stop spamming that ****. I think Kabloeey was too easy to cancel and is far too abuseable, I'd totally make it so that you can't straight cancel it if it were to return.

Ive tried this out for the same reasons. but I would also recommend turning off demon evade.
I'm always dodging with demon dodge and angel dodging back during combat, it never stops being satisfying. Maybe I should just remove the damage buff on Demon Evade, while keeping the cool visual effect and style boost, that might actually be useful.
