DBS Ch65: Goku gives Moro a Senzu to fully heal him as long as he promises to go back to the Galactic Patrol prison and not escape. Moro's already been condemned to death prior to Goku even knowing who he is, Moro beat the dog doodoo out of everyone and shoved his whole arm through Goku's chest and nearly killed him, and Merus sacrificed his existence to help Goku beat this dude.
The preview to the chapter stopped at pg8 and supposedly there's a twist/reveal next page, but it took a Creator-Writer-Editor "behind the scenes" interview to clarify that point and it stinks of damage control.
We could have gotten the same plot beats presented in the chapter without all the stupidity, but this is the state the manga is in with Toyotaro re-hashing stuff he was a fan of, to the extent of not allowing characters (particularly Goku) to progress and learn lessons they should have learned from the past arcs being copied.
This honestly just seems like an issue with Super in general and them just redoing characters arcs that were already done in Z. Prime example being Vegeta who literally flip-flop between his EoZ self and his cell saga self.

This is what we get, because Dragonball Evolution had the misfortune of being the DMC2 of the franchise and Toriyama got angry about it. It's like Capcom putting SF4/SSF4 back on the map just to pimpslap The Legend of Chun-Li out of everyone's collective consciousness.
