  • Tearing through the wellspring of gory, dark fantasy goodness that is Berserk & The Band of the Hawk. Easily one of my prized games of 2017.

    1. I love me some Sengoku Basara. Has a much more satisfying combat system than any Musou game...although, when it comes to depicting figures and events from the Sengoku Jidai, I think Samurai Warriors does a much better job. And Hyrule Warriors is one of the best modern Musou games by far, along with Samurai Warriors 4: Empires.

    2. If you're having trouble with the Behelit missions (which can definitely be attributed to the vague nature of the questionable translation job you mentioned above), I'd recommend looking up some of the guides that are on Steam. Most people have already gotten all the Behelits on import copies of the game already, so most of them already know the prerequisites for gaining them.

Yeah some of the Behelits are nuts, but I managed to get all the time limit ones by speedrunning the missions that are time limited on my first attempt, so they're at least doable.
GOOD LORD, Damian Wayne is absolutely insufferable in these DC Animated movies. He's a walking 14-year-old's edgy Deviantart character.

I mean, I kind of 'have' to like him. Are we talking real version or Lego version, though?

DC Animated moveis, i.e., Son of Batman, Batman vs Robin, Batman: Bad Blood. He made three films oozing with potential, one of which takes elements from a favorite comic of mine, Court of Owls, into exercises of agony and tedium. I give the DCEU a lot of flak, but Damian is by far the worst things about the animated movies.

My Gal Friday and I watched Batman vs Robin the other night! We had an exceptional problem with the feature's terribly heavy-handed exposition. It might have been worse because we had also just come off from watchig John Wick again and marveling at how that film showed history with very little actual exposition :p
So, SEGA actually reprinted PS2 copies of Yakuza 1 & 2 because of how rare they've become. Props to them...that's actually really cool.

Physical copies? This ain't the Dark Ages, Sega. Get with the times.

If you're not robbing your customers blind and then mysteriously taking your product off the digi-store shelves afterwards, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.

I really wish they hadn't lost the source code to Panzer Dragoon Saga. That game needs reprinting more than any other.

I don't know what these voters thought, Attack on Titan has enough diversity in looks, certainly more than some that were lower on the list. And Sazae-san clearly has a very simplified art style and should not be counted. Othwerise, yeah, pretty much every show with moe is like a bunch of clones.

@Izzy I would say it's the curse of minimum details for sake of speed. Different example would be Tsukasa Hojo, who has focused so much on idealistic body and face that his females most of the time can only be told apart by their hairstyles, but they all look gorgeous.
I humbly & affectionately offer my gratitude to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. You're all still the best thing about this forum.
Aaaaand just like that, Ace Combat 7 is no longer a PS4 exclusive. Good news for me: maybe I can play it on my PC with my old flight stick.

I was just pondering the purchase of a flight game. I take it you recommend Ace Combat?

Absolutely! Ace Combat's the bomb, particularly 4 & 5 on the PS2, (which were good enough to be the basis of SEGA AM2's Macross game on the PS2 as well). I haven't seen any gameplay for 7 yet, but as long as it avoids the pit-falls of the absolute crapshoot that was Assault Horizon.
*Checks Wal-Mart website.* *Sees a crapton of Star Fox Zero Merch I've never seen anywhere else.* *TRIPS.*

Yes, yes. So how awesome did this merch look? I'd like some deets.

Oficially licensed hi-res Posters, and Star-Fox themed apparel (even a nifty pair of retro Star Fox socks). May seem like slim pickings, but you have to understand how scarce proper Star Fox merchandise has been for the last 15 years. Most of the good stuff has been fan-made, so I'll take what I can get :)
Pumped as all hell for the Switch. Pre-ordering mine the second I amass the funds to do it.

I was blind to the flaws of the PS4 and still bought one. Doesn't change the fact that all the worthwhile exclusives are coming out for the damn thing FOUR YEARS after launch. I go where the games are, it's that simple.
    WolfOD64
    WolfOD64
@tehrugger Why would I buy PS4 multi-plats when I have a PC that outdoes it in every conceivable way? The only reason I buy Sony consoles is because the Japanese market USUALLY turns to it for console exclusives like fighting games, RPG's, KOEI games, etc. The PS1, 2, 3, and Vita did that extremely well.
    WolfOD64
    WolfOD64
...The PS4 is a borderline disgrace for that great record, and only NOW, in 2017, do the worthwhile exclusives arrive in bulk, basically rendering my early adoption and loyalty to the console for the first four years of its lifespan a complete and utter waste of my time.
I'm REALLY debating whether or not I should see the new Underworld movie. I'm a big fan of the original 3, but Awakening was just awful.

Don't you get to see movies for free?

Lol, I don't work at the theater anymore. Besides, money ain't the problem. The time you waste watching a horrible movie is more valuable than any money you spend. You can't unsee what you've seen, or get that time back where you could've been doing literally ANYTHING else.
