Im actually happy it reclaims its former glory.
I've played it, and I'm not too big a fan of it, but my lil brother is.
Back at the day it was on par with SF but than it fell out of grace. So Im happy if it does good this time around.
nice to hear.. tho i'm also kinda surprised..
yeah I totally expected it to score poorly. :D
lol, same here..
The only complaints I've been hearing over and over are about its graphics and art. I'm surprised that people are surprised that bad graphics or lackluster art style don't necessarily break a game. Why should it have scored poorly cause of those?
I think people just bummed that KoF had one of the most well made character sprites in last gen and it ditched it for 3d. I understand that reason for it was amount of characters since sprites takes far to long to craft. But not everybody got over it
One one hand I get it, on the other hand I find it very silly. Ever since God created the world, what defines a fighting game and what everybody should actually care about is its combat system, not its graphics.
its yes and no. Imagine if next DMC swaps skins for MOE anime characters. I would have been ****ed as well. But as for KoF, personally Im not bothered with look since its not first KoF, though I do think it could have been even better if it rationed sprites. But if choosing between sprites and amount of characters, I think I go with characters. Diverse cast is more important at least to me.
