Did they have tails before? That seems new, and something about the face area looks different too, but I can't place it...

The teeth are different, and the nose is pointier. They didn't used to have tails, that's entirely new. They can use it for a variety of purposes, like grabbing things, or using it like a vacuum. They can also use it to expel or take in fluids, allowing them to act as liquid storage containers just like their Storage Dragon companions.

Ack, sorry. >.< For some reason I didn't get the notification before. It's a pretty cool alternative version, yeah. What made you decide on the changes, out of curiosity?

Well, it's not a total conversion. Think of it more like... Synth Dragon 2.0. The 1.0s are still in production for those who prefer them. The facility that makes them will gladly create 1.0 models even at a loss to satisfy their consumers.

Heh, better than most manufacturers, then.

Hah, yeah. Well, they also don't think it's right to say that a living creature is "obsolete".
