Welp. This is exactly what Capcom needs. Apologists that will go running back to them as soon as they dangle scraps that sound remotely like "DMC, not the reboot".

This pretty much sums up the weeaboo fanbase -- people who can't just give up and move on. In fact, they can't even consider the possibility of a new reboot that would stay "more faithful" to the series (like Civil War Spider-Man).

Yeah, I read the thread and didn't comment because all the posts I hit the like button on said all I wanted to. And even the closest thing we have to a "confirmation" says "it's just a DMC game, I don't know if it's a reboot or DMC5 or something, but it's a game". Which shouldn't count for much.

"Premature ejaculation" would be the proper term here, since everyone's blowing their load over LITERALLY NOTHING.

Of course, no one comments on Star Fox's invincible mode, because P-Games are above criticism apparently...

It'd be so great if it turned out to be a remake of DMC2... just to shut the fanboys up and crush their hopes of getting their precious DMC5.
