I know when my bro showed me (U-Mos. I like him, he's awesome) I wanted to rush there but like 10 dark metroids, a bunch of phazon and lack of directions later I ended up in a room with a bio hazard that ate my health away like crazy.
That's helpful. I usually just run for it but keep getting grabbed. Anyway I killed Quadraxis and got the badass Light suit. Love the design. But, I missed a bunch of scans for Quadraxis apart from the main one. .-. it hurts so much. Right now i'm just roaming around looking for power ups.
I know. Let alone having no friends. >.< would have been nice if they had a way around it. I hate things where you're forced to go online or do something that you can't.
Yeah and the Dioramas were pretty cool. I also got an awesome website to play the classic games so I fulfilled my dream of owning all of the Metroid games. Minus Pinball.
So which are your favorites of the classics? I kind of have a soft spot for Metroid II as it was my first video game ever. And someone is giving it a Zero Mission style remake. It's almost done, in fact.
Oh yeah I heard about that remake. can't wait for it. As for the classics My first was Zero mission and recently I completed Super Metroid. I'd have to say it's close between those two. I've played some Fusion, 2 and original as well.
As for the first, yeah that was annoying. I'm playing online too with Keyboard controls which I tell you is not easy. I saved a picture of the map for each game though if i'm ever in trouble.
Well, there's an official remake of the first called Metroid: Zero Mission. So you could play that instead of the NES version.
As for the Metroid II one, it's called Project AM2R. It also comes with a standalone Metroid fangame called Metroid: Confrontation that's basically a bite-sized Metroid game. 25 items instead of 100, and about 2 hours long. It's fun.
Yeah I've played a few Metroid fan games. They're pretty good. I also know about Zero mission. It was the first classic Metroid game I got. I'll need to try out the Metroid 2 remake soon as well. So have you played them all?
Don't worry dude I suck at Metroid 1 Super Metroid I blame my awkward keyboard controls. Tried to make them as comfortable as I could. I also had a quick look at AM2R and it was amazing, I love it so far. Even adding a little lore section in the menu too. When will it be finished?
