It goes both ways; some of DmC's bigger fans also act threatened by the opinions of others. *Shrug* I'm in agreement, though. I wish everybody would stfu with the whole "vs." crap, already.

There's never going to be an end to the constant comparisons. It's like people have to make it look like DmC and DMC are having a "My dick's bigger" competition.

Its sad because DmC's inclusion didn't even do anything to DMC. DMC4 has a Special edition coming up, and a DMC5 is hinted, but people still want DmC to disappear completely as if it were the worst thing to happen to Devil May Cry. (which DMC2 begs to differ)

Because we're never aloud to have nice things in this petty fanbase. Everything has to be the same with absolutely NOTHING from DmC because "it's not a real Devil May Cry". Yet things from Bayonetta and most of Dante's gauntlet moves coming from Bruce Lee and the Street fighter series is a-okay. -_-

While I do prefer 3 and 4 over DmC I agree that this has gone too far but it goes both ways. I frequently see DmC fans bashing the DMC ones and vice versa. I do however hate how the fans of the originals reacted to Vergil in DMC4 SE getting some of the combos of Vergil from DmC. Let's just appreciate all the games, realize that DmC caused no harm to the original series and move on.

Well yes because lets be honest, nothing worthy came out of DmC to ever need to be incorporated into any other future DMC game. Nothing at all.

Dude what the ****?? I JUST made a whole thread about what could be added to a DMC5. Like seriously?? Look at Vergil in DMC4: SE. Itsuno even said straight up "DmC Vergil was used as a reference for his gameplay in DMC4: SE".
