Well, they are actually a quite peaceful species. They live on an ice world called Artinkos, so they have adapted to live underground. They are huge because that helps them radiate enough heat to keep themselves and everyone else in the hive warm.
There are workers and soldiers, which are black and have no abdomens since they are only for working and fighting, and do not have minds of their own. They die soon after being born. Then there are repletes, which convert anything they eat into nectar for the rest of the hive to eat.
After that are supplementary queens, which are repletes that have been fed royal jelly. Repletes and supplementary queens are always male-herms. Repletes grow breasts while in heat or pregnant, Supplementary queens always have them. Then there are male breeders and the king, the only difference between the two is the king is much bigger.
And finally there is the queen, who is massive, towering over all others. She enjoys nothing more than to see her hive prosper and grow along with watching her own hide stretch with new life. She loves guests and has the hive treat them accordingly.
Wow you really thought that through. Alternate Glaser would get along with them i'm sure as long as they don't get creeped out easily and are kind to him. As for the Turians well i'm going to develop them in the RP that i sense coming up. XD
Jarrek: oh great, this is no place for a Turian.
Glazer: we need to find shelter.
Glaser: heh, cold doesn't affect me.
Ceretus: can we stop chatting and start moving?
Microcron: hey Yol and Zanni, do you see anything from up there?
Glaser: first rule of space travel. Check the cave is safe before the group enter. You go and scope it out, Zanni wants me to keep her warm. Coming your highness! -_-
Microcron: *manages to walk through the cave without seeing any sign of life... Until he bumps into the queens rear* O_O
*the massive bug rear shudders, and the queen turns to look at Microcron. Her body is heavily pregnant, both her abdomen and belly filled with eggs, and her eyes glow a gentle purple* Hello?
