Hey, nothing wrong with that; certain fandoms really grab me as well *subtle glance at the forum*. And nope, I haven't had the pleasure, yet. I take it it's really good? (Probably even better than the anime?)
Hehe, DMC is an extremely engrossing fandom, imo. *really needs to get back into it as seriously as before but always has other things pop up when she plans to get into it*
I think it's excellent, tbh. *read the scans before she saw the anime* The plot lines are different (I don't think the anime has used any of the manga since the curry contest...) but the arcs are entertaining. The only thing that kinda throws me off is that some of the arcs are unneededly long. x_x Also, some of the characters act different.... *gonna shut up now*
It's definitely one of the most engrossing fandoms I've been part of. ^^ Lol, it's okay; it hasn't spoiled it for me. It gives me an idea of the little details they may have left out. I wonder how different the anime is in Japanese? I discovered a lot of my childhood to teen ones had been altered, when changed from Japanese to English (Sailor Moon...omg!)
Same here. ^^
Yay! I kept having to edit things out (both for length and spoilers xD). >_> I wonder that, as well. I had a hell of a time finding dvds of BB (finally ordered them at a ridiculous price... *might die if she has to look at it again or if the disks don't work*) so I've never had a chance to see it in anything but English.... *curious* :O Was there really that big of a change in Sailor Moon?
Ohhh yeah...Most of the names stayed the same (different spelling) but Sailor Moon's name was changed, and a certain villain's gender was changed, no doubt due to the...well, I don't want to ruin it, lol. >.< A lot of the dialogue was quite different, too.
Daaaaaaaaang. >_< *now might have to go rent it from Amazon* I mean, it makes sense that some stuff would be translated differently, but it's strange to change it that much.
