Lol, I hope we aren't that few in number, or we really are in trouble. XD And thank you very much! ^_^ What would you say is your favourite part of the original series?

The fourth game is my personal favorite, though I do have some quips with it, then DMC 3 is an overall joy to play, then the first, then DMC 2. Though I find myself playing DMC 2 a bit more often. I guess the boss fights keep me coming back.

I hear ya. I love 4, but yes, there are certainly some issues with it. Much the same, 3 and then 1 are my favourites following it. Tbh, 3 and 4 spend a lot of time on the same level for me. I derive much enjoyment from both of them. I've barely played 2. ^^; I also rather like the anime despite some of its own short-comings.

I'm also collecting some of the novels. I have vol. 1 (from his Tony Redgrave days), and I'm waiting on Code 1 and 2 from the DMC3 novels. How long have you been immersed in the world of DMC?

I think it was 2008 or 09, but I played catch up and loved every minute of it (save for DmC). I have the anime, and I have the DMC 3 Novels saved on my USB somewhere. Even though the timeline of the series is less that perfect (what an understatement that is, lol) it's something about it that I fan-dork over it to the max.

So around the same time as me-only I didn't start playing the games until just a little over a year ago. The anime was my intro 4+ years ago. ^^; I only had the first 4 ep. on DVD. Several months ago I got the rest of them. I played about half of DMC4 before getting the HD collection. Since, I've completed 4 (still working through Hell and Hell mode).

You're not alone, lol. Despite Capcom's blatant screw-ups, the series has me starry-eyed beyond belief. XD

Oh yeah, I have a ton of fanfiction ideas that are constantly popping up in my head. I'm trying to find what genre/character type I'm the strongest in and it's been an interesting adventure to say the least, lol. I'm in the process of re-writing everything and it's killing me a bit .
