I'm alittle biased towards it because I absolutely loved the ending with all the different suits and the fact that i've never seen the 2nd movie the secret ending was also really funny

No its fine totally fine. Pacific Rim was only the most amazing thing i've ever seen with unique giant robots vs monsters with amazing fight scenes. It couldn't possibly compare to the quality writing and comedy of Grown ups 2.
