My advice save ammo for atleast the first half because one boss you'll fight is harder than the final boss it helps that Code Veronica has the best knife in the series. Its my 2nd favorite though Steve and Alfreds voices might make your ears bleed

Oh i've played it through a few times, the knife is the way to go but i was just mentioning it because i may go stir crazy for a few days due to all the emblem collecting.
