It does matter, silly =P Yeah well my ideas only seem to stay as such. But nevermind hey. I've also added Vergil to my game because it's Vergil, obviously. And because he wasn't in the Anime, which makes it more dull.

Yup, really. Thanks. Not as such just yet. But with Vergil his gameplay is basically interrupting Dante. Stealing items that Dante needs to obtain and just being a pest in general (That's his style).
Also each character's Stylish Rank will be different. And during gameplay, the higher the rank goes the more reward you see in combat. For instance, if Dante achieves an A - Aggresive.
Then he will pull off the 'V' in it and throw it towards enemies like a boomerang. Such other attacks using letters from the ranks are also used in fighting, some with higher effect than others (The higher the rank, the higher the attack damage).
Vergil will have his own personal story-line. It's just it happens to coincide with Dante's at certain points in the game. Opening up brother vs brother boss battles (Like in Devil May Cry 3). I was thinking of having him help Dante at some stage of the game, perhaps the end boss or maybe just add him as a secondary character to allow multiplayer through missions.
Dayum LoD, you have brilliant ideas for this game concept of yours, I'd really like to play it! It sounds great just from the description you've given me so far! Have you gotten as far as what weapons they'll be using and if you can style em up?...
Thanks pal =) No not just yet, I haven't given it much thought so far. Atm I'm just working on Stylish Ranks. I'm going to add a new Stylish Rank in that starts with O. For weapons I would say you can style them up (As you put it).
