Nice, are there Shadow/Night/or just plain Dark Dragons as well?

They're called Night Dragons, though they are not malevolent for the most part. Black scales, bipedal, and glowing eyes, generally with either black or white hair and the ability to create weapons out of nothing along with the ability to make a thick smog-like secretion for quick escapes.

I think I would fall in love with one of them, haha. They sound so perfect, cause I'm totally a sucker for black dragons, white hair, and the ability to create weapons<= one of my favorite characters ever has that ability as well, though he is not a dragon. Thanks for the info:D

Night Dragons are actually an evolutionary offshoot of Ancient Dragons, too. So the more you know. :p

So that's where the hair came from. But I guess the are not as close to immortality as the Ancient ones are, right?

I thought so too. The artist did a really nice job.

He reminds me a lot of Hollow Ichigo mixed with some Nero (ironic, since they both have the same VA). His kind is universally hated (much like the Soul Dragons) due to their split personalities, his being especially dangerous.

Understandable. Even if he's the best guy in the world in his normal mode, he could just stand up and kill you 'cause of a personality change. Do they know what they've done when they change back?
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Yeah, and he hates himself for it. Look at the quotes in my sig for proof of that.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
He's the only Ancient Dragon that actively fights his other half.
Tony_Redgrave

So his life is full of conflict. Does the "evil" half of him, has his own goals/plans to fight the "good" half as well?
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Mmhm. And sometimes, he wins. He already took out Darigion's girlfriend, which makes him avoid most human contact.
Tony_Redgrave
Tony_Redgrave
Despite him being a big meanie, he makes for an awesome villain from what I understand.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Indeed he does. Darigion's main motivation in life is to find a way to bring his girlfriend back, which is why he has to travel in the less-than-savory company of the Soul Dragon Zera.

My first though was "why doesn't he find a way to seal his other half/or seperate from it" but if it was that easy I guess his kind would know a way already.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Indeed. And even if they did, they are very few in number. It's doubtful he'll ever see another Ancient Dragon in his life.

Same with the other species?
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Soul Dragons are quite common, but reclusive. Night Dragons are one of the few types of dragons that humans don't mind.
Tony_Redgrave
Tony_Redgrave
Because they prefer to stay in the shadows, and thus out of the human's way?
