So far I've only played Prime 1. It feels great, however I lack the ability to move the frickin' camera around and really, moving the aim to the side of the screen doesn't work on consoles that well. ._.
And BLKEAHGKUHGTILEHGS stupid interface!!! It blocks the view, giving like, a semi-tunnel view or something.
Scanning mode is fun although at some times annoying.
The game feels like the old Super Metroid, I know the other 2 are different than 1 (I have memories of you talking about the games) but it is very enjoyable.
Also it feels like a punch right in the nuts when they rip off your powers like that. -.-
I know they give them right back but seriously... First Brotherhood and now Metroid. I hope the next game I buy doesn't do the same. :c
Well, Metroid Prime 2 takes away your powers too, but it doesn't get rid of your Varia Suit and Charge Beam. Metroid Prime 3 doesn't take your powers away at all.
The Varia suit is in Prime 1 as well. It's just malfunctioning... like a baws. <.<
Instantly after I got the Charge Beam I saw a wall in a corridor and I was like "This looks breakable". Tbh I didn't know it was and that there was a missile expansion there. <.<
XD If you scan it, it says that it's made of Brinstone. Brinstone can be destroyed with the Charge Beam, but you could've blown that wall away earlier with the Missile Launcher.
I know, for electricity, heat, bla bla, and the bla bla bla probably. .-.
The last boss will need you to switch between them iirc. And also some enemies. D:
And then there are weapon upgrades which will be required to get some expansions as well.
Oh, and as a heads up, you're probably going to like MP2 the least of the bunch. All the beams except the basic Power Beam have an ammunition function.
No heads up I'm not aware of. And survivability is a factor that would make the lesser things of the game alot easier to handle.
I don't think I'll ever get passed the horrible interface. ._.
