Devil May Cry Forums

Hey there buddy. Of course you can =) Just a little peeved at all the people trashing the new DmC. I just do not get it, really. I'm not in love with the look of the new game. Hell yeah I loved DMC before this and how Dante looked. But I don't have a problem with this like a lot of people do. I just don't get some of their points, it seems alien to me =/

I have no problem with it either. Why other people do I'm not too sure myself. I personally believe it's because of the drastic new take on Devil May Cry its self. Just everything about it feels different; from the atmosphere and the things they've known for so many years, it doesn't feel like "Devil May Cry" anymore to them.

But don't let a few people bum you down. Sit back and relax to calm you. Or think about being a father! What have people been saying anyways?

I guess my point is I don't think Ninja Theory are trying to make it like the Devil May Cry we've come to know and love. They're trying to make it something different. People just think they're trying to ruin DMC, but I don't think they are to be honest. I just think they're experimenting with this in my opinion.

You have a fine point there to be honest. I believe you're right, it is just an experiment. Capcom does want their games to garner sales (like all game companies should). So maybe they're attempting to see if this appeals better to people? Sales figures speak louder than words on a forum, so if people dislike the game, just don't buy it. Capcom will see, you think?

I agree. The only problem is that they'll make huge sales anyway, because a lot of people will want to buy the game just to see what it's like. However, they should release a demo for it and let people judge from that. If people really do dislike it, they won't buy it. But most people say they won't, but then end up buying it anyway.
