Silent Hill 3? that was my fav one!

did you want me to set you up in W.A.Y.T?
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Yeah, go right ahead.

My fave will always be Homecoming. Best combat system in that one.

ooo, that's something I don't hear very often, Homecoming was the first I played and I thought it was good, but I have a few friends who grew up with them and they said it were too much like the film.

I'm playing Dead Space 2 and I don't know about you but when I play a horror game I am a complete pussy! XD

I'll just sort it now ;)

XD I freak the eff out with horror games, but I never give up on 'em.

I know Homecoming is a lot like the films, but I don't really care. The monsters are awesome, the Otherworld segments are just as freaky, and the combat is amazing.

I know, I thought they did a good job, especial with the nurses and I sure as hell didn't like 2 that much, did you know if you play Silent Hill 2 on the easiest difficulty, it's actually impossible to die.

Oh and it's all ready for ya ;) if you want me to re-word it just give us a shout :D

DreadnoughtDT
Yes, I did know. Everything dies in one hit and nothing even really tries to hit you. 2 is... Boring. 3 is fun cuz you get a Katana! :D

and Dougles no pants XD

I just didn't like the story in 2 it felt like he had no "real"connection to Silent Hill.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
He did have a connection, he was drawn there by his repressed guilt like the others. But it was downplayed in favor of his own self-story.

I prefer Katana to no pants Douglas. XD

Well it's just Harry Mason was drawn there by his daughter being from there and 3 is well obvious, I guess 2 just doesn't fit in with my interpretation of what Silent Hill is, that's another thing I love about the series a lot is left to the imagination.

Except in the case of Dougles....it's all on show there! XD

XD I like figuring out what the monsters represent. Like the Closers from SH3 represent overwhelming, inescapable fear.
SpawnShooter
SpawnShooter
Yeah, like the abstract daddy meaning...well ya know ;)
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Yeah. Or the Insane Cancers.

Silent Hill has some F*ed up moments, like remember that FMV with that thing hanging out the wall turning a wheel, can you say mind F*CK!
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Oh, Valtiel? He's not actually that creepy for me. The bosses are creepy to me.
SpawnShooter
SpawnShooter
Yeah, it realy sticks in my memory for some reason. I can't even remember which one it was, but in one of them (I think it was 3) there is an boss that talks to you and you think it's a bloke but when you finally come face to face it's like BLARGHERMUF!!! in sewers or a building site or something and do you remember that groaning in the Prison? that destroyed me! XD
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Oh! You mean Leonard Wolf? Aw damn, yeah, I thought that was some normal dude too until he came outta the water. I was like "HOW THE HELL WAS HE TALKING?!"
SpawnShooter
SpawnShooter
ME TOO! XD
I can't remember what he looked like, but it doesn't even have a mouth does it *checks google* yeah WTF???
