Well, at this point, I have no clue if any of the Lost Ones are coming back. The only possible way is to eradicate the virus called AIDA, and even then that might just end up deleting their consciousness from the net entirely.
When a person is killed by AIDA, they go into a coma in the real world and their consciousness is cast into the Sea of Data, which is just junk data. Meaning that destroying AIDA could potentially just delete their consciousness.
Wow. Way to make me sound like an idiot. I never heard of this game before (I assume its a game). Hell, I don't even know what the title is. Not to mention you haven't explained how these people are inside a computer or whatever for this virus thing to mess them up anyway.
You know, the reason it sounds so simple to you is because you actually understand the story. I don't. You can't just assume because it makes sense to you everyone else will get it.
I'll explain. They play an MMO called "The World" which, after the events of the first four games, was shut down and restarted. Natural AIs formed all on their own named AIDA, and weren't aggressive at first. Now they are aggressive, can infect players, and if a person is killed by AIDA or an AIDA-PC, they go into a coma in the real world while their consciousness is locked inside the game.
Yes, actually. They use a device called an M2D, which is a pair of glasses that interface with your brain and basically make you the actual player, being able to see, taste, touch, smell, and hear the experience first hand. Normally that'd be awesome, in this situation, it's a very BAD thing.
Honestly I think a game like that would sell millions, maybe billions if it was IRL. XP
Sorry, I'm just getting sick of not being able to say anything with out upsetting you. I think a lot of people on here just need to grow a thicker skin and stop getting so offended over everything.
