Sometimes, for me, I can be really tired and then at about 12 I get a big boost of energy. 12 at night, BTW.
Mr Anderson
Mr Anderson
Diddo but I get that boost of energy after being severely and thoroughly exhausted and denying the urge to sleep

Mr Anderson
It;s best described as books and movies would say as a second wind you know?
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
It never lasts though. :/ Maybe half an hour, then I'm tired again.
Mr Anderson
Mr Anderson
I generally get a good hour or two out of it but it's only ever happened to me twice.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Ah, I get it nearly every night.
Mr Anderson
Mr Anderson
Maybe it's different for me because I rarely exhaust myself to such a degree and your body has grown used it making you have shorter bursts than me.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Yeah, it must be like caffeine.
Mr Anderson
Mr Anderson
I have a caffeine addiction and caffeine barely affects me except for withdrawls so yeah it does seem kinda like caffeine.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
I have a caffeine addiction as well. I get hyper WITHOUT it.
Mr Anderson
Mr Anderson
That is so not caffeine addiction caffeine addiction is where when you go to long without caffeine you become exhausted and tired and get horrible headaches and a craving for soda coffee etc caffienated drinks more so than usual.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
Exactly. I have the same problem. The hyper period only lasts about ten minutes, then I get debilitating headaches. Sometimes they're bad enough that I vomit.
Mr Anderson
Mr Anderson
I curb the urge to vomit. But do you think that burst of energy Cuz I get it too is the last of our bodies caffiene being used up so since it's gone we suffer from the headaches and exhaustion.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
I think that last bit of energy is the body using up its reserves to keep the addiction stemmed. Like the body stores some for just such an occasion.
Mr Anderson
Mr Anderson
I could see that being the reason.
DreadnoughtDT
DreadnoughtDT
It probably is. The body stores some drugs in the periosteum (the surface of the bones) as a reserve. It is used up when the body is stressed or withdrawn. The proof? A guy who hadn't used LSD in years goes to a sauna, within minutes, he's having an acid trip.
Mr Anderson
Mr Anderson
Sweet Lucy in the sky with diamonds probably surprisede the guy in the sauna.

Indeed. XP

There's a game called LSD for PS1, apparently. It's a dream emulator.
