Yep. Dante ends up facing the Netta Angels, then realizes they're against demons while Netta attacks Dante and accuses him of working with the Angels. Hectic, eh?
But, Dante actually ends up helping the Angels and Netta goes forth against Dante with a big demon army. They clash, there's a climactic fight (the game will have three disks, one Dante, one Netta, and the third the last story). After that fight, Mundus appears, announcing that he knew Netta would be an easy pawn to mess with.
Mundus wouldn't side with angels. No, instead, the demons turn on Bayonetta and she is forced to side with the Angels. However, during Dante's story, you fight the Cardinal Virtues along with their weaker versions as well.
