Haven't been playing FF8, but soon I'll get back to it.

I only recently started playing it for the first time, I'm at heart a Royal-Guarder, so until I get a bit more used to everyone's attacks, I just get battered!

But 1 on 1 I can guard most attacks, only realy struggle with Arkam, Enigmas (sometimes) and some of Ladys attacks, what style is your fav?

Mine... in DMC3 it's Gunslinger. Artemis multi-lock target on a single creature plus Ebony & Ivory's moves in gunslinger are epic.

I dont use Gunslinger enough, whats your opinion on Nevan? I just can't get on with it any tips? or any tips all round?

Nevan... it's one of my main weapons. I use it with Agni & Rudra with gunslinger Artemis and Ebony & Ivory.
