I am big on being a completionist, and I always have been.
Back in the day I completed Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on N64 100%, and Pro Skater 2 on PS1 100%, DMC3 all SS-Ranks on all levels on both the original PS2 release, as well as the SE release. Vergil's Mission 12 was an out and out nightmare. So was Vante-3 from Mission 20 on DMD. Just a pain to get perfection. Recently, I completed the achievements mastery of retroachievements. It required to do all that again. I do not yet have the SE retroachievements-- only the original release. I now have completed the Platinum on DMC3 HD Collection on PS3, as well as PS4.
I also 100% Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City on PS2.
One of my best was Dead Rising for the Xbox 360 all achievements. I later got the plat on PS4 for the Dead Rising remaster (Not the Deluxe Remaster).
This led me to start playing other games to completion, but DMC3 is my out and out favorite game of all time. I will never stop playing it.
I got the Platinum in Black Ops 3 on PS4. Let me just tell you... that was a GRIND. I happen to like grinding and get a lot of satisfaction out of the process, however, that game made me wish that I was not dedicated to completing it. But I eventually made it happen.
DMC4 did not have a platinum trophy, however, I completed it with all S-Ranks on all difficulties. I also have gotten the Platinum trophy on DMC4SE twice on PS4 using two different profiles.
DMC1, DMC2, DMC5, DmCDE all completed as well (so that is the entire DMC series), CoD4 on PS4, Mega Man X Legacy Collection, Enter the Gungeon, Overcooked 2, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, and Castlevania Collection all on PS4.
I also completed 100% Concrete Genie, and Resident Evil 4 (original hd remaster) on PS4.
I will probably never finish Super Meat Boy sadly. That game is near impossible. I usually go back to try my hand at it for a few months a year.
Thanks for the post. I love this kind of topic (obviously).
