In the last fight when Virgil hits Dante and stuns him Virgil will turn his back and then suddenly turn around and stab Dante with his sword. Making a quote such as "Just like old times". This is a reference from Devil May Cry 3. Where Virgil stabs Dante after he turns his back when walking away.
In the last post credits fight with Dante and Virgil, Virgil will ask Dante if he's still wounded from his "fight" with Nero. Which seems to be a reference to how Nero bitch slapped Dante so hard it sent Dante lying on the floor.
Dante is chilling at the side of the arena when Nero fights Virgil. Did you notice that one?
There's probably all sorts of little details like this. Wonder what else there is?
