I finally finished Chrono Cross a few nights ago. Since then I've just been playing:

Hi-Fi Rush
Judgment
Risk of Rain 2
Curious Expedition 2

All pretty casually, except Judgment, since I'm trying to get that finished ASAP so I can start Ishin! Just installed Atomic Heart last night, so that'll get some play time soon, too.

From my previous list, I've only finished Hi-Fi Rush, which was great.

I've been playing the D4 beta, but I'm not doing a super deep dive since I'll have to re-do everything again in June. I got my Rogue to lvl 10 or 11, just enough to figure out the game systems on a surface level and have been doing more deep dives into the skill trees to prep for builds in June.

I was playing a decent amount of Wo Long. Maybe 12 hours or so and downed the first 5 bosses. But I just do not like its systems. I've been back and forth with how much I tolerate the Morale system. And not even its effects on combat, but just the nature of forced (well, extremely suggested) exploration. But the straw that boke the camel's back was realizing how bad the inventory system is, so I decided to quit. It's a horrible system where excess items do not refill upon resting, like in other soulslikes, including Koei Tecmo's own Nioh.

So, I uninstalled Wo Long. Maybe I'll get back to it later.

In its place, I installed Like a Dragon Ishin and am loving what little I've played so far (no surprise, I've loved every Yakuza game I've played).

So anyway, my list below is probably all I'll play until May when Redfall and Darkest Dungeon 2 drop. I'll wait for later in the year to play RE4make and some others. June is the real killer when D4 and SF6 absorb all of my free time. So I'm hoping to beat some games before June, then probably get back to playing offline games in Aug/Sept.

Like a Dragon: Ishin!
Season: A letter to the future
Atomic Heart
Have a Nice Death
Batman - The Telltale Series
Boneraiser Minions
Returnal
Risk of Rain 2

Of course, some other future releases may get mixed in before Redfall and Darkest Dungeon. A few future indies I have my eyes on I'll may try out. And some shmups I already own and Session will be late night filler games. But that list is the main rotation for the next 1.5 months.

Persona 5 gives off a fun vibe with its social links. It makes me nostalgic for my school days lol

Just beat Bayonetta Origins so I gave Jedi Order a go. It started out really promising but it ended up being tedious and less than appealing. I decided to drop it. Don't know what to move on to.

Been watching some naval based films recently and so it got me itching to go back and start up a new Campaign in "Port Royale 4".

Last time I put something like 20 hours into the Merchant Class and was gradually building up my colonial empire through my knowledge of economics whilst cowering whenever war was declared. So this time I figured why not go the complete opposite direction and started afresh with the Buccaneer Class. I made sure to run through the tutorial again because I didn't fully grasp the Naval Combat the first time around (hence my choice of Merchant) but once you start to get the hang of it, it's quite fun. It's grid based and since you have limited movement and turning capability, making the most of positioning each turn is key since if you don't fire guns from both sides of a ship each turn then that is an attack wasted. You also have to make the decision whether to focus on destroying a ship or whittling down it's sailors and try to board it in order to take their supplies. Will I actually be able to take down the pirates who threaten the Caribbean? Only time will tell...

Kaneshiro bites the dust. ;)

I finally got started on the Anne social link. Building my protagonist's confidence took longer than I thought.

Mementos is a cool idea but the requests are underwhelming so far.

Damn, I hate being a liar...

Add Resident Evil 4 remake and 9 Years of Shadows to that list. 2 games I am enjoying A LOT.

Also, I "beat" Boneraiser Minions, stopped wanting to play Atomic Heart, and am just taking a break from RoR2 in favor of more focus on Returnal.

First actual racing game I’ve played since ModNation Racers. Second Gran Turismo title since GT3 A-Spec. Been a while…
