Share the dumb things you have done in games. The more embarrassing the better! Let’s all laugh at each other’s stupidity together.

For me, while playing Far Cry 6, I forgot to throw a stick of dynamite. Blew up right in my face. Instant death, reload the checkpoint, whoops.

It's been three years, but I'm still cringing inside at dodging straight off the roof while fighting Martyr Logarius in Bloodborne. Three. Times. In. A row.
...I fell off the roof in that fight more times than I care to admit as well.

I lost out to the final boss in doom eternal on ultra nightmare , it had a spec of health and i was about to deliver the final blow

And my controller batteries died, i then had to watch the doom slayer get mauled on screen

Resident Evil 2 on the N64.
Not a single save and died on the final boss during a reload animation.
... the thought of that time still hurts!

Pro tip for old RE games: Keep an eye on your health and count your shots. Only reload in inventory.

Honestly, I have some that I know I have I just can't remember. The one that I do, which, all here will feel with me, is something I did... twice. While playing DMC3 on Vergil I saved my progress on the Dante save which had all unlocks, including difficulties, weapons and the lot with a playtime that might've actually hit the triple digits in hours. I remember the second time I did it I stared at the screen for a moment while I prossed what I'd done and, well... (click here)

I have done this more times than I can remember across many years and game consoles.
