Thank gods for that breeze. It'd be an unbearable scorcher without it, and I'm not ready to turn on the AC just yet (mainly because I'm wary of the fact that the workers might have effed it up while doing the siding and windows. Were those wires always visible before? *sigh* Better call CFHA to inspect it. I am not risking an electrical fire by turning that ****er on without knowing whether it's safe or not.)

+Crap, gotta renew my health card today. Welp, looks like I'm going for a walk. ._.

++Better pull the chops out of the freezer before I forget.

Edit: ...And Service Ontario is closed today. Naturally. Guess I'm renewing the card tomorrow, then. -_-

I now know why the majority of the world doesn't complicate the entry requirements for people from my island.
They must have thought oh, well if we want those folk to add to our tourism we should probably make travelling half-way across the globe easier for them. So luckily no paperwork or extra payments or visas and such are needed.
Which is really cool and all.
However, my butt is still numb and I still have vertigo from living on planes for 36 hours.

If I ever do this again, we will be flying first class and I'll sign the kids up to the care of the air-hostesses and make sure they sit at least three rows away from me.

I need a good back and neck massage. My nerves in my neck are shot!

Why is it when I resign myself to going on hiatus for one set of stories and returning to editing the others that I wind up finding the resolve to write more for the stories I had planned on taking a hiatus from?

Welp, guess I'll be juggling three stories at once, after all--and honestly, I'm glad. Maybe it's this kind of frenetic pace I need in order to keep my morale boosted.

It's kinda funny how, of all the things being toxic/venomous, mushrooms are the only ones that haven't completely driven me off the idea of.

"This spider's bite can rot the skin around where you were bitten!" Okay, no spiders...unless they're Goliaths. "This snake can kill you in minutes!" So I guess I'll be on the look out for snakes to avoid. "This person takes pleasure in their friends' misfortune and is generally a jerk!" I guess I won't talk to them, then. "This mushroom causes death about 16 days after being ingested!" :O "This mushroom kills by liquefying your internal organs!" :O Perfect child; I love them so much. :inlove: You go, mushroom! I support whatever your dreams are.

First use of the AC this season. Probably could have used it before now, but it was nice relying on the breeze through open windows for a bit. ^^ Still gonna do that as much as I can, now that we have windows where the screens are properly fitted, and no wasps or other nasties can get in.

+I think I might've finally gotten rid of the ants. On the downside, I feel like I can taste Raid on my tongue. x_x Hopefully I don't wind up sick, or anything.
