So new DMC animated series are coming to Netflix

Conroy's not even the first DCAU actor to be involved in the DMC franchise. Arius was voiced by Sherman Howard who voiced Blight in Batman Beyond. When you take into account Sparda's "Dark Knight" nickname and the third game having a villain named Arkham who can transform into a purple-clad...

So new DMC animated series are coming to Netflix

Don't know about the bolded part. It seems they'll be doing quite a bit of taking the wind out of his sails if that "trying to come up with a cool line" clip is any indication. Oh, well now you're just being mean  . On a semi-serious note, how does Vergil keep himself looking so clean if...

Hearing Last Resort by Papa Roach was rather eery for me since that was a song I suggested would be fitting for the show:LOL:.

Bosch voicing Dante immediately had me seeing those demons as Hollows.

So new DMC animated series are coming to Netflix

@Morgan I have missed your takes on these games writing, much as I do enjoy the games myself. Interestingly, I recently read a retrospective on the games which that claims Lady killing Arkham was something Morihashi had to argue in favor of. Don't know how much truth there is to this but if...

With itsuno gone do you think we could see another reboot

Absolute DC isn't a reboot. It's an alternate universe running concurrently with the main one, with different takes on the characters and events of the DC universe. Which is probably a better approach than a full on reboot. Capcom's done this with the Mega Man games.

I find it amusing that Johnny Yong Bosch is now two for two in voicing in a superpowered gunslinger who wears a red coat. Maybe he should complete the trifecta and voice Alucard in Hellsing. Adi Shankar posted this on Twitter/X. Dare I hope for Lucia?

There's memes and there's what actually happened in the game. Many others also disagree with you. We'll agree to disagree. In my view, Dante regresses far worse than Nero and for far less justification. With the way he acts in 4 and 5, the events of 1 may as well have never happened. The Dante...

With itsuno gone do you think we could see another reboot

Nero only starts acting moody towards the final mission when he has to deal with Vergil. He's pretty restrained for most of the story, especially considering he lost an arm to a stranger he was being kind to and far more mature than Dante was in for most of 3 and 4.

Aside from the hair cut and dropping the f-bomb a few times, he really isn't that much like Reboot Dante. I think the case of the week structure can work in Trish and Lady spinoffs. Since they aren't going to be the ones doing the save the world plots without Dante or Nero involved, their games...

Yeah, I've said that the reboot was the best thing to happen to Nero. It made him more popular among fans without the developers actually having to make any changes to him before DMC 5.
