Glad my post draws a good group rather than trolls :) thanks for the advice guys! I've been cutting teeth on easy getting used to timing the demon dodge, and collecting items and such haha. A few more minutes and on to nephilim again, then SOS...again...then the others :p for the new players...

I'm still figuring out the advanced mechanics, but its a blast. I'm glad I didn't listen to the naysayers, its a worthy addition to the other four on my shelf :)

Second play through, son of Sparda, and let me tell you, the color enemy thing makes it definitely difficult on par with the other games. Having a blast, loving the game, personally I think it ranks with 3 but that's just me. The story kicks ass and the last boss fight is one to remember.

I still think that the best solution is to pit dmc3 dante and DmC dante against each other in mugen, and post a video on every thread where Dante from dmc1 and Leon kennedy from RE4 break up the fight and look at the fans and say "Really?"
