    Oooh, I remember playing this! Got it on a CD with a gaming magazine, and it was my introduction to the series.

    And I have to agree - Credo was one of best boss fights not just in DMC4, but in any game I had ever played. It is just responsive in a way most boss fights are not.

    Action RPG akin to Dragon's Dogma maybe, and also possibly a survival horror (imagine being a normal policeman in a mass demonic invasion scenario... gives off Resident Evil vibes).

    As much as I like Nero, I do agree he cannot really function as a standalone protagonist of a main game. Although I am not sure Dante can carry the games any more as well... rheuma must be killing him.

    Yeah, but Sword Dante makes me think Dante has to have gravity control to wield it...

    Not sure about Rebellion, but DSD gives me the impression that the sword should be swinging Dante around. Strength won't be of much help when sword is three times your own weight!
