I see, you wish to change your avatar. Okay, on your page it should say "Customize profile". Click on that, and the link takes you to a new page. On the new page, to your left, is a list of things you can edit. Select 'Edit avatar'. From here, either type in the internet address of an image, and save your changes. Or upload an image from a file on your PC/Laptop, and save changes. And your desired image should appear.

Are you talking about how to have a picture on your profile itself? Or do you want a picture put into a topic?
