Really? I was under the impression he was simply defeated and corrupted by Mundus, and that Nelo Angelo was a new kind of DT. If Mundus had just shoved his soul into the armor why did he have a physical form beneath the armor? Souls don't have physical bodies from what we've seen in the DMC...
My friend actually gifted me DmC on Steam so I'm currently playing it on PC. Story aside, I like the combat even though it does feel a bit simplified but the amount of potential combos you can pull off is intriguing. And the game looks great constantly running at 60 fps.
Aaand it's things like that that make me want to learn japanese. Them damn localizations!
I'd actually say you having Suikoden 4 is a good start, that way you can play all the other games (if you find them cheap) that are better than Suikoden 4 and be mindblown.
If you're considering getting a...
Suikoden 4 is debatably the worst in the series so you won't be that impressed by it if that's the one you have. Suikoden 1, 2, 3 and 5 were good though with 1 and 2 being the best. Not to mention the music in 2 is absolutely magnificent.
I've only played Persona 3 and I thought it was...
I'm not a big fan of emulating myself, only when it's rare games that aren't available anymore or very hard to get your hands on like you said. ...And in the case of one's console dying like my PS2 did. I usually only emulate games I don't own anymore or can't play anymore for the nostalgia...
If you still have the discs for the original games and a good PC (good processor mainly) you can burn them into ISOs and play them on an emulator, such as PCSX2. That's what I did. I'm going to get HD collection myself at some point too though.
I can't see them remaking the game, there...
I'm honestly surprised people are so overcome with anger over a game that they feel the need to endlessly bash people for liking something they don't. I mean sure, I've seen similar things happen before with other games but not to this extent. It's absurd. The idiocy I've seen from both sides...
Really? *checks thread*. And right you are, I don't see the word pathetic anywhere. You're a cool guy so I had a hard time believing that you said that but haven't had a lot of time to be on the forum lately.
The appearance changes to Lady actually makes a lot of sense. Between the events of DMC3 and DMC4 at least 10-11 years has passed, she's grown older (evident through her increase in cup size and more feminine appearance) and has had time to heal from her ordeals in DMC3 and before DMC3. As for...
If anything I find these glitches very entertaining to watch. While glitches are not an uncommon thing in games nowadays I have to question a game developer's work ethic when a glitch that allows you to pretty much skip levels is in the final product. It just makes them appear lazy or that they...
I'm inclined to disagree about the combat part. Say what you will about DMC4 in general, but the combat in that game was beautiful. It was deep, flexible and took an incredible amount of skill and time to master. Well, for me at least. Not to mention the vast amounts of possible combinations...
Good point. I really have no idea what the expenses for things like extra costumes and such estimate at nowadays but I can understand them wanting to make a profit out of their work, it's business after all. So long as they don't overprice them to oblivion I'm fine with it.
I was being...
Remember when you were able to unlock costumes for no additional cost by beating the game as you went through difficulties? Good times.
But in all seriousness, this is how they do it nowadays. They want to cash in as much as they possibly can and DLC is one of the best ways to do it because...
