The DMC universe is not our own. Sure there are cities with lights and everything, but there aren't any cell phones and stuff like that. It is a very classic, yet slightly modern world. But yeah, it does remind me of a 50's new york.

DMC2 sucked, and the time around DMC1 was more interesting

Well, its actually Joystic (SP? its another site and devilmaycry4.com merely gives us the link) that got to play the demo and said it was not that impressive but then again, I believe they played the first level...and NO ONE can flow that well at that point. You have to build your guy up first

I always check www.devilmaycry4.com cuz it has the latest news on DMC4 the newest article ( at this point) refers to a testing done by some folks. They said that DMC4 was NOT impressive. Check out the article and tell me what you think

I think DMC2 and DMC3 DT's were too...plain...and just not very good.... I didn't mind it really, but I REALLY love the Sparda look. Its his true demonic form and its perfect...but of course it probably won't be what his DT looks like they should make it awesome just the same

I wonder if you are getting the mangas confused with the novels... I thought there were two Novels and three mangas ( one screwed over because of the artist quitting) but actually, I wrote a script based on the first novel. VERY loosely based because as blood knight said, they aren't canon...
