Dante never was the one who got stronger with anger that was only ever neros sorta shtick, Dante only ever did it at the end of one and even then they do it MORE in the anime. That's how he even unlocked DT instead of getting stabbed.
As for lady although I can understand people's problems...
I keep seeing everyone hate on it but why? It's clear from the jump its remixing the canon but genuinely feels like it's made with love and respect to the series. A big complaint I'm seeing is they "nerfed" Dante but his power level is wildly inconsistent even in the games, he can fight demons...
I've heard a lot of negativity and while I can understand just because of how iconic the voices are for the characters, Johnny is a professional voice actor, and tho similar you can hear him trying for a slightly different performance. TBH he always seemed like who they would have gone with if...
Wouldn't be at all against Morrison becoming the owner of Devil May Cry and just giving independent jobs to different hunters. Could introduce new characters by him just bringing in the closest work when his regulars (Trish, lady, Nero) are away. Being more of a contractor than an actual shop...
We've seen lookalikes of rebellion in 4 and 5 but none of Yamato so it feels like the rebellion design is either VERY generic in demon culture or was specifically tied to the sparda family. What do y'all think?
No no no. Don't excuse "giant fireball constantly being shot" with "hideout" In all every other game it's a secluded area. The first cutscenes of 1 and 3 are in cities until being moved to a totally desolate area. FORTUNA tho, again people have to live there. So how in God's name are you meant...
DMC1 is an abandoned island. DMC3 is an ancient demon tower. But DMC4 Is just a city, where people are supposed to live. So how is ANY of this explained(primarily the hallway of never ending fireballs that's there for no apparent reason) I would think the castle is abandoned but there's a RECENT...
Am I the only who loves them? Specifically the goat variants and the black basic mooks. I've always had this idea of how they'd fit in lore wise, in most games the mooks are just something possessed by a demon right? Well I think it would've been cool if these were the things possessing all...
This can't be true right? There's no way they were using the same ps2 model from 2001 in an HD 360 game. I really can't tell since the design is so similar. But just, how?
So glad he hasn't been canceled over bs, to me he is dante, starting with 3 he made that character his, everyone since only does an imitiaion of his take
Tbh makes sense if Morrison handles all legal things, technically might be the new owner "when we're you gonna tell Me you let nero use the devil may cry cry brand? All the income til now is gonna be a bitch on taxes" I can picture it now
Of course it's a diff branch but LEGALLY doesn't dante own in it? He's owns a building and has a business number, so for that in between 4 and 5 dante would've had to make nero a legal owner and whatnot or a license to use the name
Also maybe I misspoke, because we never even confirmation that he's even dead. And even at a third of his power let's say, dmc3 dante level at most, whod be able to kill him?
"So sparda, if the guy was so powerful what got him killed?" Purely because Nero seems intent on questioning things dante and Virgil just accepted, like sparda just disappearing. Think his time working for an order of demons could've really led to him being more inquisitive than dante. Tbh I...
