I've been thinking a bit after my second run at the show. I have more thoughts but I'll save them for later. The things that occured to me were, first, that I hope this isn't a He-Man situation where they take Dante out of the picture and make the second season about Lady. The other is that...
Really? It's so blatant you might as well try deny the claims that there is obvious CG usage in the show because it's all hand animated or that water is wet. It's all over the show and it's not shy about it. Castlevania did the same thing. The religious figures are these radical, unapologetic...
Yes and no. In 2, Trish is an unlockable character, she's an extra. That's common, or, was. There's nothing wrong with that. I definitely think 4 is character bloated. There are too many characters for too little a game. Trish, Lady and Vergil are not exactly unlockables, they are their own...
Really? I assumed that was a given. When the show was announced multiple seasons were either heavily implied or flat out stated.
Yes.
Edit
Saved the franchise? Was the franchise in danger? Pretty sure it's has been posting W's for the last few years...
That's the question. Itsuno wanted to part with Dante and Vergil with 5 but Dante's too popular. Making DMC a multicharacter per game franchise might not be good for its health. Funny thing, in the original DMC, Kamiya wanted to have a playable Trish section. He also wanted a playable Baldur in...
I'm hoping I'm wrong but this whole thing has me wondering if Capcom is just engaging interest in DMC. They did the same when 4's SE went on sale. They wanted to see if there really was interest in the OG games and not just internet talk, which carries no weight, when you get down to it. When...
I mentioned that DMC sales were up but it seems DMC was also top 3 on netflix and the franchise bundle was #9 on Steam's top 10. They've gone down but they got the spike for the week. Still a good deal.

Just got my collectors edition of Shadows of the Damned and am listening to the soundtrack that came with it. The actual soundtrack is 5 CDs but this one has some great selections, including one I was hoping for since it's not the most famous track in the game.
Looks like someone saw The Returner.
Both Arkham's are reference to Lovecraft but I don't think the connection was lost on anyone. Also, years ago, Capcom made a deal to make some comics based on their properties with DC. DMC was one of them.
I've been rewatching the show. When available, I like to watch anime in multiple other languages, see what they sound like or how they did things differently. Something occurred to me. The director, who by the way is not the creator of DMC, (ever wonder if mistakes like that are intentional...
Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Game was free on PSN and I've had it for a while. Never gave it much thought. Look rather mediocre, to be honest. Truth be told, I underestimated this game. It's pretty good. It's got some combat issues but nothing so deal breaking that I can't say it's a damn good game.
That's-- what!? Getting handcuff is not a sexy thing every time it happens. Police aren't like that. Military detention is... rarely like that. Look, that van was made for demons. It's made to contain and kill them. Of course they'd have extra industrial strength restraints when they know what...
