Devil May Cry is NOT FREAKING HAPPENING at E3 this year.

Wait until Capcom actually delivers solid evidence for ****s sake.

So we aren't allowed to talk about the DMC series when it comes to when or where we might see it because you don't want to talk about that? Here's a crazy idea, why not go somewhere else and talk about something you do want to talk about.

Still a slight chance it could get a teaser during the rest of E3 considering the E3 schedule says that there are still games being announced in the next coming days but it is a small chance.

I'm not forcing you in to this conversation, this is a f***ing DMC forum where we talk about random DMC sh**, and yes also the possiblities of what may happen with DMC. Well, you were talking to me, but you seem to be the one throwing a tantrum, and I ain't crying. I'm just commenting on the absurdity with which people are clinging to whatever scraps they can find, and honestly just sort of laughing at the level of investment in such scraps. Scraps aren't a full meal.

I love talking about DMC, it's why I'm here, with such a gigantic post count that is only exceeded by my like count. I just think it's just too sad to be so starved for a new DMC to latch on to every tiny piece of info that barely has any veracity to it. Save your hype for a sure thing, then you won't be getting ****ed when an unsubstantiated rumor turns out to be false.

I'd say there's no chance of DMC appearing at E3... The reason? RE7. Think about it: RE7 was revealed today with only 6 months to go until release. I think this is Capcom's new strategy and they'll only reveal games when they are pretty much done. The same's true of Dead Rising 4 - due out later this year. If Itsuno's new project really is DMC5 (please, God) then we know development only really began around January this year. Far too soon to have anything to show and I think Capcom's new policy will be to reveal things when they are ready. I'm not sure we'll hear from DMC until possibly TGS 2017 or E3 2018. It sucks but I think that's the case.

Oh, thank god, Gravity Rush 2... I almost thought I wasn't going to hear from it again this E3.

There are 2 spots that could maybe belong to DMC, though not a guarantee, of course, and this is just one outlet, there are half a dozen other places that would release a trailer, announcement, or screens, but I still don't have much faith in this been the convention. I'm burned out on the waiting, and this close on calling it quits on the whole thing. It has been damn near 9 years, that's almost a decade, that wears one out.

Yeah, definitely no guarantee but still a chance. Especially since it's most likely going to just be a short teaser like the DMC4 Dante in the snow trailer from e3 2005.

Honestly GoW4 was way more depressing. It's dropped all pretense of gameplay and turned into yet another story driven cinematic slog.

That and it's turned to over the shoulder camera. GoW was always very cinematic with their camera angles and they turned it into the a very different experience. When they said it was now norse I assumed they meant a new protagonist and a new god of war. To top it off they actually removed the subtitles and decided to just call it God of War? That trend needs to die.

Agreed, one of the reasons I was looking forward to GoW4 is for that fast paced almost Devil May Cryish gameplay. Hell It didn't even look like there was any kind of launch attack or even the possibility of juggling enemies. I know that's hard to tell considering the size of the enemy that was shown but it still looked like that. And why did it say Spartan Rage? I thought he was a Norse now, what is that about? By the way, nothing to do with this topic but relating to the previous topic we were on about more games still have to be shown, isn't Capcom supposed to show something about Resident Evil 2 Remake at E3? I thought I remember someone saying something about that.
