If you take videos and stuff already shown into consideration, we already know 3 boss battles.
Hunter boss was shown some days ago. Complete fight is on youtube.
Poison is already known for months...
Bob Barbas was also shown, though not 100%.
There are other 3 bosses confirmed ( their names included), but it's better looking at the achievement list, lol. Because that would be spoiler territory.

And this time we don't have to fight each of them 3 or 4 times 
So just guessing their order here (spoilers in white):
- Hunter Demon
- Tyrant
- Poison
- Bob B.
- Lilith
- Mundus' Spawn
- Mundus
- Vergil
So eight bosses. That seems correct.
I thought the second one was just a regular enemy...
I'm not sure about Lilith being a boss, considering that she isn't listed ( at least not in the achievements list).
More will come, I put my head on the table literally, if I'm proven wrong

And don't forget some are reccuring bosses like Hunter
you fight them more than once...I think the bosses in the achievements are reccuring
I think this is the Tyrant...but i don't why he shares the same name as the enemy :/Aren't we all forgetting the demon that has spinning blades for hands?
You could be onto something... however maybe the achievement list is incomplete/ just simply doesn't have all bosses on it. Btw I think the Aquilas are the blades from this enemy with the spinning hands but I could be wrong

In fact when you consider that it is most likely that there will only be eight Bosses. Then will must fight more than once with some bosses.
I also think that there will be a boss rush at level 18 or level 19.
I think in this series all the weapons are Eva and Sparda's relics.
I think Dante will get angel abilities in the blue rose areas and Demon weapons where Sparda left them.
I still wonder whats the down on the D-pad...
